Majitelkou Zlatého korálku je dvojnásobná mistryně republiky v přípravě kávy Petra Veselá, takže o kvalitě podávané kávy není sporu. Pro její přípravu tady používají italské Caffé Vescovi (100% arabika), sedmidruhovou kávu s výrazně čokoládovými tóny, kterou si dovážejí přímo z italské Padovy. Ochutnáte dokonalé cappuccino korunované pěnou skvostně nazdobenou technikou latte art. Můžete ochutnat i kávové speciality, se kterými se majitelka zúčastnila světových soutěží, nebo se u ní zúčastnit kurzů přípravy kávy. Jílové je od hlavního města vzdálené jen pár kilometrů, přesto se tady nabízí spousta možností k příjemným procházkám. Za prohlídku stojí překrásné údolí řeky Sázavy obklopené masivní pahorkatinou i samotné město s bohatou historií a přízviskem „královské zlatohorní“. Historii dolování zlata je tady věnováno dokonce i muzeum, kde se navíc dozvíte i o dějinách českého trampingu. Café Na Kozím plácku
While in Kutná Hora, enjoy your coffee in a café called “Na Kozím plácku”. It is located in a small, stylishly renovated house on Dačické square. Do not ask for a regular espresso here: this café is unique in that they only make their coffee in vacuum pots (a glass vacuum coffee maker with a filter) or on a “French press”. This method is over a hundred years old and is slowly enjoying a comeback. The French press is brought to your table while the vacuum pots are prepared at the custommade siphon bar. The owner is charming and there are freshly roasted single-blend coffee varieties from Doubleshot à La Boheme Café to choose from. Other specialities are fresh bakery products from the local bakery, desserts and hot chocolate made from real, 72% chocolate served with whipped cream, fruit, nuts, chilli, coconut or gingerbread. Kutná Hora itself is one of the loveliest towns in the Czech Republic and features on the UNESCO World Heritage sites list. A visit to the breath-taking Church of St. Barbara, the patron saint of miners, is a must, as is the Vlašský dvůr, also known as the Italian Court, the Czech Museum of Silver at Hrádek, and the medieval underground shafts where silver was once mined. En route from Kutná Hora, don’t forget to visit the world famous ossuary in Sedlec. We guarantee you’ll need another strong cup of coffee after seeing the ossuary. There can be no doubt about the quality of coffee served here: the owner of the Golden Bead is none other than Petra Veselá, the double Czech national coffee brewing champion. Here they use the Italian Caffé Vescovi (100% Arabica), which is a blend combining seven varieties of coffee with distinctive chocolate undertones imported directly from Padova in Italy. Taste a perfect cappuccino crowned with thick froth exquisitely decorated using the latte art technique.
