So much going on again this month on and around Gran Alacant. We have pictures of the Santa Pola Duathlon, Gran Alacant fiesta races, the storms and an update on the first secret garden we told you about in an earlier edition. Our news pages show even more progress on the urbanisation making our area even better. Many people are commenting on how nice a place this is to live, with all of the improvements being carried out. There are two appeals in the magazine this month. One is for volunteers for next years Gran Alacant fiesta races; they need people to help with handing out water, T-shirts and goody bags at the finish of the races, also generally helping out as the event has become very popular and attracting more and more competitors. Also an appeal from the Gran Alacant Football Club, who would love to welcome any new players, so if you enjoy playing football give them a call. There is an article in the magazine with their contact numbers.
