Architecture skyline is a massive theme to exploring so many amazing city skyline projects in the world. Seoul is a home to a young and dynamic city in East Asia with much iconic architecture.
A skyline is an outline or shape viewed near the horizon. It can be created by a city’s overall structure, by human intervention in a rural setting, or in nature which is formed where the sky meets buildings or the land.
To continue to experience the path of the architecture skyline, in Spring 2021, I opened a new topic for my new skyline which called “the taste of the Spring in Seoul.” I’m getting the feeling that people really love spring which a season overflowing with symbolism. It is a transitional time of year, when the cold and dark dwindle away and the rains of rebirth fall upon the Earth. The light begins to shine brightly once more. Simply speaking, spring is the season of new beginnings and everything is new.
Explore 562 LEGO bricks of landmarks with the Seoul skyline detailed recreation of one of the world’s most glamorous cities. From the left to right, I have the National Folk Museum of Korea, Sungnyemun Gate, the 63 Building, Bukchon Hanok Village, Namsan mountain & the N Seoul Tower, Myeong-dong Shopping Walk, Seokchon Lake Park, and the Lotte World Tower.
My favorite part of the model is Namsan Seoul and the N Seoul Tower as well as the elements of building Seokchon Lake Park with tiny cherry blossom trees. I believe that they are the power of the architecture’s perspective. They lied in the center of the horizontal line on the skyline which created the pay attention to the builder, feel very tiny, very neat, and simple.
Although I had a simple color layout, the whole skyline I put some tiny cherry blossom trees to bring vibrant colors and fragrant scent to the Seoul city skyline. That’s the main point I wanted to achieve in my design.
Through the model, we can both play and learn about the landmarks, historical and modern architecture of Seoul city as well as welcome a blooming spring of cherry trees in South Korea. I think that is a great idea for Korea’s blend of historical and modern architecture with this realistic Lego brick model for which I would show what Seoul is. After the Taipei skyline in 2020, of course, the Seoul skyline in 2021 is my favorite second skyline in Asia that I designed. Every single detail I designed will be telling you about the architectural essence, culture, and splendor of Seoul with these landmarks magnificent that bring together. In the perspective view of the design, I believe that Seoul is such an amazing, and beautiful city when completed in Lego bricks!
