We would like to thank you for opening our 2023 catalogue in search of breeding bulls for the 2023 season! When we started this venture we were in our early twenties, now that we both are in our 50’s the qualities that we strived to produce in our Bulls back then seem even more important today. Cows that calve on their own, mother up and bring in a healthy heavy calf in the fall are what every cattleman strives for. Our cheapest gain on these calves is on grass, we have been weaning a bit later these last years in order to see what our cow herd can do for itself. The TMR ration has allowed us to bring these bulls to breeding shape in a timely manner hoping to lengthen the longevity of these bulls. The Charolais cross calves are still toping the market and its even more encouraging to see the payout for the heavy weights!
We look forward to hearing from our valued customers, whether you have been with us for years or maybe a first time customer, someone is always around and you can go through the bull pen anytime. G. Bros would like to retain the right to draw semen from any bull in the sale at the buyers convenience and the sellers cost.

Free delivery within 300 km, and to a convenient location in Sask, Mb, and Ab for distances greater than 300km.
DELAYED DELIVERY
We will keep the bulls free of charge until May 31, then a fee of 100$ a month after. Bulls staying at the farm must be insured.
Its my pleasure to once again be part of the Gilliland Bos. Bull Sale. Let’s cut to the chase because that’s how the Gillands are. These are good bodied sound functional bulls. Every year I am astounded at the amount of repeat buyers that come to this sale. People don’t come back year after year and buy unless they are happy with their previous purchases. The proof is in the pudding, the people that buy at this sale love the bulls and the service they get from the Gilliland family, period! These bulls are not pampered their mommas are working girls that get out and get the job done.
I remember the first year I saw the Herd Sire Maverick, he impressed me with his thickness and incredible muscle. Then I found out they used him on heifers, holy cats then I was super impressed! Typically, they use him just on heifers but this year some powerful cows got bred to him and the outcome is awesome! A bull that can be used on both on old cows and heifers and have a product like this is every cattleman’s dream. I usually don’t single out herd sires, but this dude has definitely earned my respect. Don’t miss out on his sons! Curve bender is the phrase that comes to mind. They have a lot of cows and use a variety of both walking and AI bulls to get them covered. Another sire group the jumped out at me were the Harley 21H calves. Nearly half the sale offering is provided by these two studs. The rest are a combination of both calving ease and performance bulls to insure your bull buying needs are met. Come to the sale and you too will become a return customer. Purchased Maverick after implementing him very successfully in the A.I. program with our heifers. He is a good footed, long, muscular calving ease sire. He is so consistently good we are using him on more cows all the time, some of the heaviest weaning weights are his progeny.

Been a definite performance Sire for us since we sold him in the 2019 sale. Super line of females on the bottom side of his pedigree, consistently good to say the least. You have to admire the dimension and style of his sons, their weight gain is what the Charolais breed is all about.
The top Clyde son from 2019 raised by a broody no miss Dakota Dam. Long bodied, deep quartered free moving Herdsire whose calves are hairy, well made with great temperament.
Longest bodied Herdsire we used in 2022, His sons were very well received in last years sale. We lost him to an injury last year but luckily we have a number of females in production.
We brought Governor into our program because of his calving ease combined with his performance. We see these traits in his first crop of calves.
Our lead off bull in 2021 purchased by Brickey Stock Farm in Maidstone. Doing a good job for Wendall and Leanne as well as our operation here.

TERMS: The terms of the sale are cash, cheque, and wire transfers, payable at par at the sale location unless satisfactory payment arrangements have been made prior to the sale with seller, buyer and Bohrson Marketing Services. Bohrson Marketing Services reserves the right to require a certified cheque as settlement before releasing any sale cattle or frozen genetics. Payment in full must be made before cattle can be released and shipped. Exchange rates will be announced sale day and the sale will be held in Canadian funds.
BIDDING: All animals to sell through the sale must be sold by auction with each animal selling to the highest bidder. Private sales will not be allowed except as otherwise provided for in the terms and conditions. No by-bidding will be permitted.
DISPUTES: In cases of disputes, bidding will be reopened between the parties involved in the dispute. If no further bid is made, the buyer will be the person from whom the auctioneer accepted the last bid and the auctioneer’s decision will be final.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Any announcement from the auction block will take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Buyers are therefore cautioned to pay attention to any such announcements.
LIABILITIES: All person(s) attend the sale at the their own risk.
CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: A registration certificate issued by the applicable breed association and a certificate of registry duly transferred will be furnished to the buyer of each animal after final payment has been made.
PREGNANCY INFORMATION: All bred females have been pregnancy examined by an accredited veterinarian, who has provided the seller with an estimated length of gestation. The estimated
gestation period shall be used only as a guideline to calving and is not a guarantee of actual service. Bohrson Marketing Services will provide supplement sheets with breeding services provided for the purchaser.
HEALTH: All sale animals have met all necessary health requirements and it is the buyer’s responsibility and expense to determine health requirements for importing any animal into his province or state. Bohrson Marketing Services assume no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.
PURCHASER’S RISK: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold.
SHIPPING: Shipping of cattle, semen and/ or embryos are the responsibility and expense of the purchaser. Purchasers are requested to provide shipping instructions at settlement on sale day.
INSURANCE: We strongly recommend insurances for full value on all purchases.
