Competitions
Flight Pool
There will be an optional Flight Pool in each flight. The entry fee per team is $100.00.At the completion for our Men’s Invitational the winner in the flight will receive 60% of the pool in that flight and the runner up will receive 30% of the pool. Ten percent of the pool will go to the winning flight that is determined by the team that wins the shootout for our Invitational Championship.
Skills Competition
Putting Contest. Each team’s combined distance on two putts added together to determine the winning team. Closest combined distance from the hole. Putting contest will be held on the practice putting green,
Entry is $20.00 per team on Friday, March 21st.
Tournament Format
• The tournament format is Four Ball Match Play at Full Handicap. The field has been divided into flights determined by each team’s combined handicap index.
• Each team will play five nine-hole matches within their flight. Strokes will be allocated off of the low handicap in each match, with the low handicapper playing at scratch. Half shots will be utilized where appropriate.
• Ateam will receive one point for each hole won in match and 1/2 point for each hole tied. The winning team of the match receives a one point bonus for the win.
• The team that wins the most points in their flight will play in the shoot out to determine our overall Champion.

Tournament Rules
1.) Preferred lies will be permitted in your own fairway only. You may lift, clean and place your ball within one club length of the original lie no nearer the hole.
2.)All paved service roads and paved cart paths are immovable obstructions. Player is entitled to drop one club length from nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, without penalty.
3.) The restroom on #5 and #14 are considered immovable obstructions and free relief is granted.
4.) The maintenance area to the left of #9 and right of #10 is marked as out of bounds.
5.) U.S.G.A. approved measuring devices only.
6.) The embedded ball rule is in effect through the general areas green.
7.) Disputes If you feel your opponent has broken a rule, but you can’t agree on how to proceed, you must “make a claim” by telling your opponent a) that you are making a claim, b) what you think has been done wrong and, c) that you want a ruling from the committee.
8.) Scorecards Please turn your scorecards in to the scoring area immediately following the completion of your 9 Hole matches. Please sign and attest indicated winner of match along with point total.All disputes must be resolved prior to signing your scorecard.
9.)All rulings by the committee shall be final.

Shoot Out
The Shoot Out for the overall winner will be conducted on Hole 10, 18, 10 and 9. Team members will play an alternate shot competition with the gross score minus 10% (as the strokes fall on card) of the combined handicaps determining the winner. The 10% of combined handicaps will be rounded up to the nearest whole number. The team will decide prior to play who hits the opening shot and then alternate each shot for the remainder of the holes. Play will be from the gold tees.
We will play an elimination format. Two teams will be eliminated on hole #10, and two teams will be eliminated on hole #18, one team on Hole #10 with the final two teams playing the hole #9 for the overall title. If teams are tied, then a chip off, blast off, will determine who advances.After play on the 9th hole, if two teams are tied we will proceed to the 100 yard marker on the 9th hole for a sudden death shootout to determine the overall Champion.
