Charity Auction at the Weekly Market

On Monday 13 December at the Weekly Market in the Village Hall, a Charity Auction of Christmas Hampers will take place at 11.00am. Each stallholder is donating a hamper of goodies, and all proceeds will go to local charities. There will be mulled wine and mince pies, so make sure you are there for this special event! Squirrel Scouts

The Scout Association have announced the launch of its first new section for young people in over 35 years, with the starting of Squirrel Scouts. Squirrels is an early years provision for young children aged 4 and 5, and fits in before Beavers Scouts. The Squirrels meeting will be known as a Squirrel Scout Drey. At the moment 1st Henfield Scout Group does not have plans for a Squirrel section, but is gauging interest for the possibility of starting a new section in the future. In order to understand Trafalgar Day concert any interest, the Group would like to hear about potential Squirrels and their Parents or Guardians, The Sussex branch of the Royal Society of St George held a concert on 23 October to celebrate especially how many of the adults would commit to becoming leaders and take on the running Trafalgar day.
