VALENTINE'S DAY DATE IDEAS BY ELLA MORK Valentine's Day is coming up and sometimes it’s hard to find a good activity or appropriate gift for this holiday. Below will be different ideas to make this day fun whether it’s with a special someone or just friends! Date Idea #1: The Melting Pot + a Movie Go to The Melting Pot and see a movie at Easton! The Melting Pot is a more expensive restaurant but definitely a romantic experience with really good food that you can personalize. After, head to the movie theater down the street! There is always a new (sometimes cheesy) Valentines day movie!

Date Idea #2: Dinner in Newark + Bowling or Ice Skating 1922 or Elliots are both local restaurants, located downtown Newark in the square. This is a more casual but still a place with good vibes and good food. After, go bowling (Park Lanes) or ice skating (Lou and Gib Reese). Date Idea #3: Cheesecake Factory + Lazer Kraze The Cheesecake Factory is a good restaurant that is as fancy as you make it! Also make a whole night out of it and walk around Easton! On your way back, stop at Lazer Kraze in Gahanna and end the night with fun! Date Idea #4: Stay Home + Board Games Stay in but make it fun! Go to the store and get a new board game, order take out or get some food to make, and buy a movie and snacks. This is a perfect way to stay home but also make it special. No Date? Have a girls' night! Don’t have a valentine this year? Even better! Go get all your friends together and make fun pink and red heart cookies or cake or make a heart shaped pizza! Watch some Valentine's Day comedies and call it a night.
