Where Is Classics Taking You? Students Respond

Page 1

Can you study a Classical subject alongside Maths, Performing Arts and Science? Yes!

Two years ago, we launched our Where Can Classics Take You? campaign to highlight the long-term benefits and importance of a subject we care so deeply about. Whether it’s learning a classical language or studying the ancient world, Classics teaches so many transferable skills that can be applied to different subject areas and lead to numerous career opportunities.

This summer we asked students studying Classics at KS3, GCSE, AS/A Level, undergraduate degree or postgraduate level to tell us where they’re heading next and what it is they love about Classics (or not!).

137 students from across the UK replied and took part in our 6-question survey. You can see all their answers in the next few pages.

Want to inspire your students and encourage them to study Classics at all levels? Take a look at our campaign webpage below for even more resources you can share with your students.
