Week 1

Licensing & Membership Setup

Activate your Real Estate License.

Join GPSR Realtor Association, Membership, MLS access, and Supra. Harry will send your application to the Board; they’ll respond within 48 hours for payment/setup.

Practice using Supra at the GPSR Association office.

Branding & Personal Setup

Have a professional headshot taken (or use a high-resolution photo) / Submit photo to Dwayne.

Set up your voicemail. Must include your licensed name and BHHSCA name.

Set up your name correctly on all web, email, and social media platforms. Create your elevator speech.

A quick way to bring up real estate in casual conversations. Post your New Agent announcement on social media.

Can be customized in the BHHS Resource Center.

Technology Setup

Receive your Welcome Email from Jeanna Ortiz (IT Department).

Read carefully and follow instructions for account setup and printer installation.

If you run into issues, submit an IT ticket or ask Laura to submit one.

Set up your BHHS Email (email will come from Jeanna Ortiz).

Download and install the BHHSCA-provided mobile app (instructions from Jeanna Ortiz).

Order your Welcome Kit. Follow the directions in the email; use the provided voucher code instead of personal payment or contact Harry for support.

Link your laptop to the office printer.Email Jeanna Ortiz to schedule a time (Mon–Fri, 9AM–2PM); be in office with your device.

Connect to Wi-Fi.Network: HM4Sale, Password: Agent$1st

Add Dwayne Carrier’s phone number to your contacts: 760.409.4913

Review your Code Sheet for login credentials.

Set up your profiles:

National Resource Center Profile

Add photo, bio, and social media links.

Check and update your email signature in your business email and VAC account.

THE DAILY REVENUE COMMITMENT -

What is something that you can COMMIT to DAILY that will generate REVENUE?

Sphere of Influence (SOI) into DATABASE - USING SOCIAL MEDIA and TEXT

Start with people that are closest to you; family, friends, in-laws, kids’ parents, etc By utilizing your social media platforms and text messages, you can use the system below.

FIRST AND FOREMOST: KEEP IT SIMPLE!

SCRIPT 1 - Hey Brian! I hope you are hanging in there and doing well! As you may or may not have heard I started my real estate career a few months ago. I am updating my contacts in my Real Estate database and I'd love to send you something over the holidays and from time to time. I have set some really big goals for myself, and in order to achieve them I need to do a great job at staying in touch with people I know. So would you mind replying with your current address, phone number and email address to help me out?.

PERSONALIZE IT

Make sure you change the name and add a relevant, personal touch. Like a Birthday, Anniversary, Graduation, Home Schooling, etc

ONCE THEY RESPOND THANK THEM, REFERENCE ANYTHING THEY MENTION AND ASK FOR A REFERRAL

SCRIPT 2 - “Thank you so much! So glad to hear about . And of course, if you know of anyone looking to buy or sell a home I would love the referral!

ADD A PS. - Example “PS. The kids are getting so big!” Or “PS. I can’t wait till we get can get together again.”

DON’T FORGET TO ADD THEM TO THE VAC ASAP! AND FOLLOW UP WITH A QUICK EMAIL.

SCRIPT 3 - Email Subject “Hi Brian”

“Brian, I just wanted to send you a quick email to make sure I entered your contact info correctly And, now you will have my contact information if you ever need anything. Thank you again for helping me out. I appreciate you supporting my business. Have a great (week, weekend, Monday, etc.).”

SEND THEM A THANK YOU CARD IN THE MAIL WITH 1 (ONE) BUSINESS CARD.
