Economic DEVELOPMENT “Open for Business”
The Logan County Chamber has been designated the official development agency for Logan County. It’s partnership with Ohio Department of Development’s Region One – Columbus 2020 provides the economic development tools to facilitate attracting and locating new companies to our community.
The Central Ohio region is made up of eleven counties and is home to over one hundred Japanese owned companies. Logan County is blessed with a very diverse manufacturing base including privately owned metal and plastic fabrication to multinational global companies. Our skilled workforce is second to none in producing products that are used around the world.

Business retention and expansion is being addressed by “Team Logan” a 13 member task force consisting of industry and business leaders throughout the county. Routine business and company visits continually surveys the needs of our local community. Whatever the needs of industry; Logan Counties Economic Development team has the resources, at the state and local level, to be competitive nationwide.
The Community Improvement Corporation (C.I.C.) allows for a private, public partnership to assist governmental agencies to package tax credits and incentives they could not accomplish on their own.
