SEPTEMBER 2022 OFFICER REPORT

I. Officer or Committee Report Summary. Greetings Sorors, Philos, and Rhoers! I am happy to report the following: ● The Executive Board met Sunday, August 7, 2022 and Sunday, August 28, 2022. We’ve maintained ongoing communication using the GroupMe app, emails, text messages, phone calls, and virtual meetings. ● Attended Philo Meeting Tuesday, August 16th. ● Attended the NPHC End of the Summer Party in the Park.Sunday, August 21st. ● Attended Membership Committee meeting Tuesday, August 23rd. ● Attended National Programs Update Webinar Wednesday, August 24th. ● Attended BXS Centennial Kick-Off Pool Party/Cookout Saturday, August 27th. ● Attended BXS Parliamentary Chat & Chew Wednesday, August 31st. ● Attended and volunteered at the Infinite Spirit Ministries: Giving Infinite Love Community Service Event on Sunday, September 4th ● Assisted with communicating with scholarship recipients regarding scholarship payment. ● Submitted a call for volunteers to serve on Centennial Ad-Hoc committees. 4 responses were received. ● Registered to attend Area Meeting. ● Initiated communication with area coordinator to begin establishing Workplace access for chapter members. ● Attempted to respond to all requests and communication within 48-hours. ● Provided guidance and direction for officers, as needed, via phone calls, emails, text messages and group chats.

II. Recommendations for chapter action.

Proposed Language/Action

1) Identify volunteers to serve on centennial ad-hoc committees. One committee will focus specifically on our upcoming centennial donation (2-3 Sorors) and the other committee will focus on identifying local activities/events (7-10 Sorors; this can include partnering with Rationale

Both committees will require high-level assistance with research and review with a very fast turn-around time. The primary function is to give specific advice and suggestions. The advice and suggestions should focus on the purpose of our centennial donation and resolving how our chapter will celebrate our centennial founders’ day.

a sister chapter) for our upcoming centennial celebration. 2) The Executive Board voted to move chapter meetings to a hybrid model. The majority of board members voted to move to hybrid meetings. 2) Hybrid meetings are meetings or events that feature at least one group of in-person/face-to-face attendees connecting virtually with other meeting attendees. A hybrid model will allow members who are comfortable to return in-person for meetings and will still be inclusive of members who would like to remain virtual for meetings.
