The Annual Fund What is the Annual Fund? As virtually every independent school does, The Benjamin School depends on philanthropic support to keep tuition competitive and to provide the kind of excellence in education that each Benjamin student receives. Tuition alone does not cover the full cost of your child’s education. Benjamin must raise $1.6 million in philanthropic support each year to subsidize the difference between what tuition covers and what it costs to provide the operational resources to support everything from teachers’ salaries to student programming. Whether you are a parent, parent of alumni, grandparent, or alumnus, the Annual Fund is the best way for you to help us to advance our mission and give a meaningful gift that expresses the value you place on your connection with the Benjamin community. From there, we hope that you will also join us for our many “friend-raisers” and give generously to other campus needs as you are able. Each gift makes a difference in the life of the school.
