MECHANICAL INSTALLATION
Bells Power Solutions can handle any size of project, from installing smaller, standard equipment to very large installations. This may include specialist crane hire, road closures and traffic management systems – including all planning, approvals and permits. SPECIALIST INSTALLATION
Bells Power Solutions has full in-house capability to design, supply and install large fuel oil storage systems. These typically consist of fuel oil bulk tanks, fill point cabinets, fuel transfer pumps, control panels, pipe-inpipe systems and leak detection systems that comply with DEFRA regulations.
In addition, our electrical engineers interface all elements of control and power distribution for all auxiliary equipment, linked into SCADA / BMS systems.

CASE STUDY 22 BISHOPS GATE
Bells MES have successfully delivered a full design & build package for the generator system consisting of plant in basement level 3, a 25 Bar duplex transfer pump to level 41 supplying 6no. 1600 litre fire protected day tanks with another pump set.
This served the 6No. 11KV generators located on level 57 some 260m above street level, with over 300m of fill and dump line pipework installed within this iconic City of London landmark.
We worked closely with our client, other specialists & the professional team to ensure this design was technically compliant & that it was successfully signed off when the system was commissioned.
CASE STUDY GRAFHAM WTW
Bells MES scope included survey works, design, prefabrication, logistics, installation, testing & commissioning of plant skids which was to be located into an operational plantroom.
Our challenge, due to the ‘live’ systems & the restricted space within the plantroom was for us to survey, design & fabricate a bespoke plant skid to limit the space used to de-risk the delivery as well as connect into the existing systems.
The Chilled Water plant skids were fabricated and tested offsite at our Erith factory. The manufacture consisted of pumps, pressurisation, control panels, wiring, valves and associated ancillaries.
Bells MES install, connected to the existing live systems, filled, vented & carried out the water treatment in accordance with the BSRIA requirements with the client’s team to ensure water quality was achieved.
By fabricating off site this reduced working hours on site, managed the risks with working in a ‘live’ plantroom & deliver in accordance with the programme.
