Bells Power Control Systems is the latest addition to the Bells Power Group, based within the outskirts of London. Our in house control system engineers design, build & test a variety of bespoke panels in our panel manufacturing workshop.

PLC UPGRADES

Our cost effective PLC upgrade solutions, by using specifically designed equipment which ensures little down time for physical hardware replacement and no need for I/O revivification.

PLC SERVICE

To keep your PLC system up to date with the latest firmware, software and life cycle status, Bells Power Control Systems offers a yearly service inspection. The system inspection includes a complete inspection off the PLC and all connection outstations control panels. A full report of the installed control modules, firmware and life cycle status, power supply status and condition are just a few of the monitored points.

PLC, SCADA, BEMS SOFTWARE

We design PLC code to control any system requirements and configure the associated SCADA / HMI software to give intuitive operator interface. Whilst Allen Bradley and Schneider are our main specialities, all manufactures systems can be catered for.

ONSITE INSTALLATION & COMMISSONING

Bells Power Controls systems install cable containment glanding, terminating, fibre data and comm’s installation. All tested and certificated to latest the standards.

COMPLETE SYSTEM DESIGN

We support our clients from concept design, through to producing functional specifications, technical submittals model, drawings, cable schedules, factory and site acceptance test documentation. We offer all design solutions irrespective of the source (eg fans, pumps etc.) .

PANEL MANUFACTURE

At our UK based panel workshop, we design, build, test bespoke panels including low voltage PLC controls systems, including up to 3000-amp power distribution, motor control centres and pump and fan control panels. We also provide off the shelf fuel controls systems with standard options for day to bulk tank fuel transfer, and dump pump systems.

EMERGENCY, PRIME POWER GENERATION CONTROL

The Bells Power Group are industry leaders in power solutions, with over 30 years of experience. Our generator controls upgrades include survey, scope, recommendation, compliant design with full system integration solution including fuel and pump controls with loading/ load shedding control systems.

CASE STUDY 22 BISHOPSGATE

We successfully delivered the highest installation of generator system in the northern hemisphere, which consisted of a bespoke control and monitoring system of the 6 generator sets including the fuel systems and their ancillaries.

Nine outstation PLC panels installed throughout the building interact with each other via fibre optic providing information to and from:

• Hot standby PLC,

• Ignition SCADA system

• Fuel system

• Third-party platforms such as the BMS

• ComAp Intelligent Controllers - The diesel generators are pre-installed with IG-NTC-BB controllers and InteliVision IV5 colour screens.

Our in-house engineers design, built, installed and commissioned fuel system, incorporates a few innovations to overcome the challenges due to the hight of the building.

LFWE

LONDON FRUIT & WOOL EXCHANGE

Our scope within this new building included the design, off/ on site testing of the emergency power system which consisted of two 11KV generator sets with its fuel system and ancillaries.

We designed, fabricated, installed & commissioned a bespoke mains synchronising load control and monitoring system with the following: -

• Two HV switch boards,

• Five LV switch boards,

• Four risers

• Over twenty tap off units.

We have successfully delivered the installed two generator sets along with its fuel system and their ancillaries.

Our in-house team designed, built, installed and commissioned the complete control system.

Design, build, install and commission a bespoke PLC control system. Controlling all HV generation, full building load control.

Design, build, install and commission a bespoke PLC and ComAp control system. Controlling all six 2.5Mw HV generators, Full fuel control system for six day tanks, one break tank and three bulk tanks transferring over 53 floors.

Design, build, install and commission a bespoke PLC control system. Controlling all LV generation, full building load control for over 100 breakers. Including 33Kv.

One Bishops Square Skanska

Design, build, install and commission a bespoke ComAp generator control system. Controlling all HV generation, generation synchronising to four HV mains supplies.

The Walbrook Pheonix ME

Design, build, install and commission a bespoke PLC and ComAp control system. Controlling all LV generation, Full building load control for over 100 breakers.

Thompson Reuters T-Clarke

Design, build, install and commission a bespoke ComAp generator control system. Controlling all HV generation, generation synchronising to four HV mains supplies.

William Harvey Hospital East Kent NHS Trust

Designed and installed standby generator system with 3 x 1.5 MVA diesel generators. Short term mains paralleling to 3 mains supplies with ComAp control modules.
