Please take a moment to review the calendar periodically because some changes or additions may occur. IMPORTANT: BRHS will remind you about different activities like Family Education Day, Kabbalat Shabbat, etc. via phone calls. For this purpose we will always contact the home number. In case of school cancellation you will also receive a phone call on your home number and you will be able to check that information on Facebook too. Reminder: There is no Hebrew school on Thursday, November 24th. Sunday, November 27th: PD Day, no school for the students. Family Education Day Grade 3: Siddur Geography Grade 3 Family Education Day is on Sunday, November 13th from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm in the Gym. We invite all Grade 3 parents to participate in this multi-sensory learning experience led by our family educator that relates to the child's curriculum. It is a unique opportunity to learn together with your children in a fun and stimulating environment. Grade 3 parents will receive an invitation via email with all the information. If you didn’t RSVP yet, please contact the school office by tomorrow morning. Kabbalat Shabbat Service: Our first Kabbalat Shabbat service will be held on Friday, November 25th. Save the date! Welcome Shabbat with song and joy! Everyone is welcome! We extend a special invitation to our Grade 6 and 7 students and their families to participate in the Kabbalat Shabbat service. Tax receipts are issued for donations of $18 or more, and more than one family can sponsor a service. School Council Meeting: If you are interested in finding out more about your child’s Jewish education or want to make our school stronger, you are invited to join the School Council. We welcome all parents and thank all volunteers. Monthly School Council meetings are held on Sundays from 9:30 – 11am. The next meeting is on Sunday, November 20th. We hope to see you there. Sunday, November 20th from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. Drop off and pick up at Ross Doan P.S. Lunch will be served at Ross Doan P.S. at 12:30 pm sharp. We’ll be taking a school bus to and from Just Bounce. Cost is $13 for shul members and $18 for non members. Optional pizza lunch available for an additional $5.00 (includes two slices of pizza, drink, chips and veggies).
