Dear Beit Rayim Hebrew School Parents, Beit Rayim Family Hannukah Party and Bazaar: Dance with Bounce Entertainment, games, pizza lunch available for sale, activities, Menchie’s frozen yogurt for sale and vendors. Sunday, December 18th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Ross Doan P.S. Parents return and join the students at 10:30 am to participate together and browse the bazaar. Admission $3 per person. All students must bring $3 on Sunday, December 11th. School Calendar: You can find the BRHS calendar on our website under the "Back to School" package link or simply by clicking here. Please take a moment to review the calendar periodically because some changes or additions may occur. IMPORTANT: BRHS will remind you about different activities like Family Education Day, Kabbalat Shabbat, etc. via phone calls. For this purpose we will always contact the home number. In case of school cancellation you will also receive a phone call on your home number and you will be able to check that information on Facebook too. Family Education Day Grade 7: Communication Thanks to all the parents who joined us in school and helped make this family education event an amazing learning experience for everyone. Yasher Koach to Steven Greenwood and Morah Danya Borenstein for all their effort in putting the program together as well as to parents and students for sharing their insights and enthusiasm. Family Education Day Grade 6: Jewish Heroes – Jewish Values Grade 6 Family Education Day is on Sunday, December 11th from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Gym. We invite all Grade 6 parents to participate in this multi-sensory learning experience led by our family educator that relates to the child's curriculum. It is a unique opportunity to learn together with your children in a fun and stimulating environment. Rikudiyah: We are so excited to announce that Beit Rayim Hebrew School will be participating in this year's Rikudiyah performance! We are looking for students from Grades 4-6 to participate in this fantastic opportunity. If your child is interested in participating, please fill in and sign the form that was delivered to the students on Thursday, December 1st. Shabbat for Tots takes place each Saturday morning at CHAT in the youth programming room next to our sanctuary. Morah Malka, Beit Rayim Hebrew School Teaching Assistant, will supervise this program starting at 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. The program is geared to be fun while your children (age 3-9) learn about torah stories and our holidays. A blend of story telling, games and hands-on activities will connect your child to Jewish traditions in an enjoyable and entertaining fashion. This program is open to Beit Rayim members, students of Beit Rayim Hebrew School and their friends. Light nut-free snacks provided. We will be limiting the program to 20 children. PJ Kabbalat Shabbat: First Friday each month* Next date will be February 3, 2012* Co-Sponsored with The PJ Library Snack & Schmooze: 6 - 6:30 PM. Interactive & Participatory Service with story time: 6:30 - 7:15 PM *no PJ in January due to winter school break
