Family Education Day Grade 6: Jewish Heroes – Jewish Values Thanks to all the parents who joined us in school and helped make this family education event an amazing learning experience for everyone. Rikudiyah: We are so excited to announce that Beit Rayim Hebrew School will be participating in this year's Rikudiyah performance! We are looking for students from Grades 4-6 to participate in this fantastic opportunity. If your child is interested in participating, please fill in and sign the form that was delivered to the students on Thursday, December 1st. Hannukah Food Drive: Beit Rayim Hebrew School will hold its annual Hanukkah food drive Sunday morning December 18th to help feed the 140 Jewish families who rely on the the Pride of Israel Kosher Food bank each week. Help make the holiday a bit brighter for these elderly and poor Jewish clients. We will have a boot at the Hanukkah party. Please bring non-perishable kosher groceries to the Hebrew School on Sunday December 18th and drop it off at the Food Drive booth at the Hanukkah Bazaar at the school. Especially needed this time: soup, potato pancake mix, applesauce and chocolate "gelt" Thanks. School Office hours: School office hours are Monday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. Shabbat for Tots takes place each Saturday morning at CHAT in the youth programming room next to our sanctuary. Morah Malka, Beit Rayim Hebrew School Teaching Assistant, will supervise this program starting at 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. The program is geared to be fun while your children (age 3-9) learn about torah stories and our holidays. A blend of story telling, games and hands-on activities will connect your child to Jewish traditions in an enjoyable and entertaining fashion. This program is open to Beit Rayim members, students of Beit Rayim Hebrew School and their friends. Light nut-free snacks provided. We will be limiting the program to 20 children. Casino Night: Poker tournament, Blackjack, grand prizes and raffles, hors d’oeuvres, snacks and desserts!
