Introduction
At Bede’s, we believe in developing every aspect of a young person. For this reason, our activities programme is unlike any other. Activities and clubs at Bede’s Prep School run three times per week (Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays) with children from Year 3 through to Year 8 being inspired, empowered and motivated to succeed.
The programme is varied each term and includes suggestions made by the pupils. Children make independent choices and decisions about their participation, become involved in the organisation, management and leadership of activities and take part in activities for a myriad of reasons - recreational, competitive and educational.

We have carefully crafted our co-curricular provision to develop 21st century skills such as collaboration, communication and critical thinking in our pupils - skills which are valuable in every aspect of life, from home to the workplace. Furthermore, our specialist staff help pupils to develop extraordinary expertise in a range of specific activities.
Whether that means achieving sporting excellence on a national or international level, pursuing a career in the performing arts, excelling academically in their chosen fields, or discovering and developing new passions and hidden talents, we want pupils to see the whole world as a classroom.
Mr Garnham Activities Coordinator
All activities are free (except where stated) and we encourage pupils to select a variety of activities.
Pupils are encouraged to select three activities a week. Scholars are expected to attend the activities in their chosen field.
