Festival of Words

In March, there was a ‘buzz about books’ across the school as we celebrated our Festival of Words event.

In celebration of World Book Day, we launched a Festival of Words event that ran from Thursday 2 March to Friday 10 March. The event was packed with a series of fun and engaging literaturerelated initiatives to create a ‘buzz about books’ across the school.

A host of activities and initiatives were planned that suited and inspired different Year Groups, including bells ringing to prompt everyone to drop what they were doing and grab a book to read, an Art Exhibition showcasing artwork created by all boys from Nursery to Year 8, a visit from a West End Theatre Company providing our boys with the opportunity to bring books to life in Drama... and much more!
