NATIONAL BIOTECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE

The National Biotechnology Conference (NBC) explores the latest research and ideas in its field, where leading scientists gather to present and debate innovative solutions, and gain insight into new emerging trends, and collaborative opportunities within the biotech community. In 2024, NBC featured two tracks: Advances in Discovery, Formulation, and Delivery of New Modalities and Novel Strategies to Advance Biotherapeutic Development. Likewise, for NBC 2025: Call for Programming, the track system of the Conference stays the same with two tracks proposed : (1) Inspiring Innovation in Formulation, Bioprocessing, and Drug Discovery & (2) From Bench to Bedside: Bioanalysis and Translational Science. The first track talks about the recent advancements and challenges in biologics formulation and delivery, covering a range of modalities such as multi-specific antibodies, ADCs, peptides, vaccines, nanomedicines, and cell and gene therapies. It explores how novel technologies can enhance bioprocessing, characterization, and delivery, including continuousprocessingandPAT methodologies. Furthermore, the track comprises three themes that explore the different domains of the track giving an opportunity for an all-round discussiononvariedtopicsofdrugdiscoveryandbioanalysis.

TRACK 1: Inspiring Innovation in Formulation, Bioprocessing and DrugDiscovery

This track focuses on the latest advances and challenges in the formulation and delivery of biologics for newer and established modalities.

Theme 1: Accelerating Novel Formulation Development of Biologics forNewerandEstablishedModalities

Theme 2: Bioprocessing, Characterization & Comparability for ComplexBiologics

Theme3:Patient-CentricProductDesignandPrecisionMedicine

NATIONAL BIOTECHNOLOGY CONFERENCE

The second track focuses on innovative bioanalytical techniques and translational tools for evaluating newer therapeutic modalities like CAR-T cells, gene therapies, and protein-based drugs. It emphasizes the need for advanced methods to assess pharmacokinetics (PK), pharmacodynamics (PD), and safety, as well as the identification and validation of biomarkers. The track highlights the importance of multidisciplinary approaches and cutting-edge analytical techniques, including in-vitro and in-silico modeling, to predict clinical outcomes and optimize dose projections and phase 2 regimen design. Submissions on bioanalytical approaches for various biologics and how bioanalytical data caninformclinicaldevelopmentareinvited.

Like the previous track, the second track also comprises of three themes exploring the complex biologics of bioanalysis, sample logistics & clinical trials, and safety translation in newermodalities.

Overall, NBC 2025 will discuss topics for future sustainability and developments in the fields of pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology

TRACK 2: From Bench to Bedside: Bioanalysis andTranslationalScience

The rapid rise of newer (now beyond novel) therapeutic modalities has warranted innovative approaches and strategies to analyze these newer drug products and their respective constituents. This track focuses on innovative bioanalytical techniques and translational tools including invitro and in-silico modeling to predict clinical outcomes.
