The Business and Finance Skills Bootcamp is aligned with Level 3 industry standards and designed to be your fast track to a career in business and finance, with a strong emphasis on the financial side of business. It is FREE if you are unemployed or employed and looking for a career change. If you are an employer seeking to enhance your staff’s skills, large employers will contribute 30% of the cost for their employees, while small and medium-sized employers will contribute 10%.

This course will help you develop essential Level 3 skills for small businesses and sole traders, or to secure a role within a finance department, focusing on the practical ability to create and maintain financial records and analyse financial data. You will learn key competencies, such as the role of finance in organisational strategy, how to build effective working relationships with stakeholders and maintain a professional attention to detail.

Course introduction
The Business and Finance Skills Bootcamp covers the principles of creating and maintaining financial records while exploring the strategic role of finance in business. You will gain practical skills in recording and analysing financial data, assisting with accounts preparation and developing professional skills, such as attention to detail and effective management of stakeholder relationships.
Over 12 weeks, you will receive an industryrecognised SAGE certification, compile a comprehensive portfolio (that includes a business plan, spreadsheet exercises, and a CV) and gain valuable employability advice.
Guaranteed Interview: Learners will have the opportunity to connect with local employers and secure guaranteed interviews for job vacancies.
Comprehensive Support: Personalised support, assistance with job applications and interview preparation to effectively showcase employability skills during the Skills Bootcamp and for six months afterwards.
Entry requirements
• Individuals aged 19+ who live in the Hampshire area are eligible to sign up as learners.
• Either in work, self-employed, recently unemployed or returning to work after a break.
• This Skills Bootcamp is a Level 3 course, and so the following is required: GCSE English and maths (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above.
• To successfully pass the course, you must commit to attending over 90%.
