How much do Skills Bootcamps cost?
Skills Bootcamps are completely free for eligible participants if you are unemployed or employed but looking to change careers. If you are an employer looking to upskill your staff, you can use our courses as a training resource at a reduced cost.
Who is eligible for a Skills Bootcamp?
To be eligible for a Skills Bootcamp you must be:
• Aged 19 or over
• A resident of England for at least 3 years
• Legally entitled to work in the UK
Do I need experience to apply for a Skills Bootcamp?
To do a Skills Bootcamp, you do not need prior experience, but some courses might require a basic understanding of related topics. A Grade 4 or above in GCSE English and maths (or equivalent) is required.
How are Skills Bootcamps delivered?
Our Skills Bootcamps are delivered in-person, designed to be intensive, with participants typically committing to 10 to 12.5 hours per week of learning for between five and sixteen weeks.
What kind of support do I get during a Skills Bootcamp?
There will be a range of support services to help you succeed, such as careers advice, CV writing workshops, and interview coaching.
What qualifications will I get from a Skills Bootcamp?
The primary focus is on developing practical skills that are valued by employers.
Do Skills Bootcamps guarantee a job?
By working in conjunction with local employers we can offer guaranteed job interviews at the end of your course. We will also support you with your job search for six months following your course completion.
