You have a daytime or evening option for the Early Years Skills Bootcamp, both delivered in line with Level 3 standards. The Skills Bootcamps are FREE if you are unemployed or employed and looking for a career change.
If you are an employer seeking to enhance your staff’s skills, large employers will contribute 30% of the cost for their employees, while small and medium-sized employers will contribute 10%.
The Early Years Skills Bootcamp is designed to equip learners with the essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours needed for a successful career in Early Years education. On completion of this course, you will also obtain a DBS Check, Food Hygiene Certificate and Paediatric First Aid Certificate, all of which will be a useful addition to your CV and enhance your application for positions in this rewarding sector.

The Early Years Skills Bootcamps are designed in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) requirements. They cover essential topics including child development, childcentred learning, safeguarding, first aid, and promoting equality, diversity and inclusion. Throughout the Skills Bootcamp, you will gain insight into what it’s like to work in the sector, explore the range of job opportunities available and have the chance to meet potential employers.
Guaranteed Interview: Learners will have the opportunity to connect with local employers and secure guaranteed interviews for job vacancies.
Comprehensive Support: Personalised support, assistance with job applications and interview preparation to effectively showcase employability skills during the Skills Bootcamp and for six months afterwards.
• Individuals aged 19+ who live in or plan to work in the Hampshire area are eligible to sign up as learners.
• Either in work, self-employed, recently unemployed or returning to work after a break.
• This Skills Bootcamp is a Level 3 course, and so the following is required: GCSE English and maths (or equivalent) at grade 4 or above.
• To successfully pass the course, you must commit to attending over 90%.
