On Saturday 22 March we held a LEGO walk at Barnsley market.
Over 60 supporters took part and braved walking over the coloured bricks. The total raised before and at the event is nearly £2000, with funds still being raised and collected.
A big thank you to everyone who took part in the event.
Supporters who had previously taken part in our charity firewalk and glasswalk said the LEGO was more uncomfortable than both fire and glass!
On Sunday 23 March, nine super supporters took on our very first charity shark dive.
Spirited supporters took the plunge at Blue Planet Aquarium, Ellesmere Port, for an unforgettable event, raising vital funds to support our patients.
Surrounded by giant sand tiger sharks, rays, and hundreds of tropical fish, each diver demonstrated incredible courage and determination.
Their efforts have already raised thousands of pounds, with every donation helping to support our cause.
The event highlighted both the bravery of participants and the generosity of their family, colleagues and friends and our local community.
We want to thank everyone involved for their commitment, bravery and for helping us make a difference for our patients.
Due to popular demand

February saw external supporters, staff and volunteers take to the skies at 15,000ft for our first skydive of the year, rasing over £4,000 for the charity.
We have three further dates planned for 2025 30 April 22 June 18 Sept And we would love you to join us for this once in a lifetime experience.
Sometimes the smallest change makes the biggest impact on a patient’s journey.
Thanks to charity donations, ward 22's patient dining room has been transformed.
We are in love with the mural, well done to all the team involved.
Funded by generous donations from colleagues in the department skydiving and a charity car wash hosted by AN Car Hire, the transformation of two rooms is nearly complete, providing a quiet, private space for relatives during the most difficult moments the loss of a loved one. This space is only possible thanks to the kindness of donors who help us care not only for patients but for their loved ones too.
