BaptistHealthFishermen'sCommunityHospitalhasinauguratedtheWalshFamily MedicalArtsBuildinginMarathon,markingasignificantenhancementinhealthcarefor theMiddleKeys.Thisnewfacilityexpandsthehospital'scapabilities,addingfive chemotherapyinfusionrooms,alaboratoryandadditionalspaceforprimarycare, physicaltherapyandspecialtyserviceslikeorthopedicsandgastroenterology.Thenew buildingconsolidatesservicesononecampus,improvingconvenienceandcareforthe community.
This$5millionprojectwasmadepossiblethroughagenerousdonationfromtheWalsh familyandOceanProperties Thehurricane-resistant,10,000-square-footstructurenot onlyincreasespatientcapacitybutalsostrengthensthehospital'sroleasanallencompassingmedicalhubintheKeys,offeringbettercaretocurrentandfuture generations. PowerExtraordinary:TheCampaignforBaptistHealthisahistoricfundraisinginitiativeby Baptist Health Foundation in support of Baptist Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Florida. The campaign aims to raise a record $600 million in philanthropic donations as an investment in the communities Baptist Health serves. The initiativewillsupporttheorganization’svisionofprovidingworld-class,compassionatehealth resources by pursuing a reimagined approach to patient care, a new era in research and clinical trials, a hub for the best minds in medicine and a globally recognized center for innovation.
