Bankstown Sports ‘Mid-Year Mayhem’ Member’s Draw

Terms and Condi�ons

1. Bankstown Sports ‘Mid-Year Mayhem’ Member’s Draw commences from Thursday 20 April 2023 at 9am and concludes on Wednesday 12 July 2023 9:00pm (12x weekly draw nights in total).

2. Draws will be from a total prize pool of $82,000 cash. Distributed into the following: Cash Jackpot: $72,000 Final Draw Night Bonus Draw: $10,000

3. Each draw will be conducted at Bankstown District Sports Club (BDSC) of 8 Greenfield Parade, Bankstown NSW 2200, using a digital promotional system. The drawn membership number will be displayed on selected screens at BDSC. The membership number will also be announced over the public address system. In the event of a technical failure, membership numbers may not be displayed on screens and/or draws may be postponed.

How to enter Mid-Year Mayhem

4. Members can enter the Weekly Cash Jackpot Draws by doing the following:

a. Members will receive one entry into the Virtual Barrel for swiping or scanning their Membership card at the nominated screens every hour, on the hour for the promo�on week from Thursday 20 April – Wednesday 12 July. The first promo�on week is Thursday 20 April 2023 9am – Wednesday 26 April 2023 8:59pm. From then the promo�on week will be from Wednesday 9:00pm un�l the following Wednesday 8:59pm.

b. Members will receive five entries into the Virtual Barrel for every $20 spent at dining and beverage outlets at BDSC and venues (excluding San Churro, Lady Banks Rooftop and Al Aseel) between Thursday 20 April from 9am to Wednesday 12 July 8:59pm. Entries will be allocated as follows:

i. One Membership card can be swiped or scanned per transac�on to earn the entry into the Virtual Barrel. The Membership card must be scanned or swiped at �me of transac�on by the Member.

ii. Members can make a purchase through BDSC’s online ordering system (known as me&u) to earn entries. Entries from purchases made a�er 8:59pm each Wednesday through me&u will go into the Virtual Barrel and will be included in the following week’s draw.

iii. Members must enter their membership number into BDSC’s online ordering system (me&u) before payment, to earn entries. Entries will not be made retroac�ve in the event that a member does not enter their Membership number at �me of transac�on.

iv. me&u is a separate legal en�ty and is en�rely unrelated to BDSC. BDSC is not responsible for any entries that are provided to it late or are otherwise not provided to it by me&u.

Weekly Draws

5. The ‘Cash Jackpot’ draws will jackpot by $1,200 each draw �me.

6. The Weekly Draws will commence every Wednesday, from Wednesday 26 April 2023 to Wednesday 12 July 2023.

7. The weekly draws (excluding the State of Origin Draws) will consist of 5 draws (7pm, 7:30pm, 8pm, 8:30pm and 9pm).

8. The drawn member will have four (4) minutes to claim their prize at the dedicated promo�on area in the Rainforest Lounge. If the prize is unclaimed a�er four (4) minutes, the prize will jackpot to the next draw.

9. If the ‘Cash Jackpot’ has been won, the next draw will start from $1,200.

10. The total prize pool of the ‘Cash Jackpot’ is $72,000 cash.

11. Any member drawn in the weekly draws are s�ll eligible to be drawn again in a future weekly draw.

State of Origin Draws

1. The ‘Cash Jackpot’ draws will jackpot by $1,200 each draw �me.

2. The State of Origin Draws will commence on Wednesday evenings, on the following dates only:

a. Wednesday, 31 May 2023

b. Wednesday, 21 June 2023

c. Wednesday, 12 July 2023 (Final Draw Night – see below)

3. The State of Origin draws will consist of 5 draws (6:30pm, 6:45pm, 7:00pm, 7:15pm and 7:30pm).

4. The drawn member will have four (4) minutes to claim their prize at the dedicated promo�on area at the Mona Foyer Stairs. If the prize is unclaimed a�er four (4) minutes, the prize will jackpot to the next draw.

5. If the ‘Cash Jackpot’ has been won, the next draw will start from $1,200.

Final Night

6. On the final night draw, Wednesday 12 July 2023, the ‘Cash Jackpot’ will start from the previous week’s jackpot amount.

7. If the ‘Cash Jackpot’ is not claimed, the jackpot will increase by $1,200 every 15 mins from 6:30pm to 7:15pm.

8. If the ‘Cash Jackpot’ is won, the next draw will start from $1,200.

9. At 7:30pm, a draw for 1 member will occur. They will win the total value of the ‘Cash Jackpot’.

10. The drawn member will have four (4) minutes to claim their prize at the promo�on area (Mona Foyer Stairs).

11. If the remaining jackpot is not claimed at the final draw, redraws will con�nue to take place every four (4) minutes un�l 7:50pm.

12. If the prize is not claimed by 7:54pm, drawn member will be the winner regardless of their atendance on the night and will be phoned the next business day. The member must claim their prize within three months from contact. In the event the prize is not claimed within the period, a comparable and legal redraw will occur.

13. Winners of final night draws, will be eligible to be drawn in the ‘Final Night – Bonus Draw’ at State of Origin Game 3 half �me (approx. 9:05pm)

14. At 7pm, a draw for 1 member will occur. They will win the total value of the ‘Cash Jackpot’.

15. The members drawn on the final night draws, will be eligible to be drawn in the ‘Final Night –Bonus Draw’ at 7:40pm.

Final Night – Bonus Draw

16. The Final Night - Bonus Draw will occur at the Half Time mark of the final State of Origin night at approx. 9:05pm (Wednesday 12 July 2023).

17. The drawn member will have four (4) minutes to claim their prize at the promo�on area.

18. If a winner is not found by 9:09pm, the next member drawn at 9:10pm will be the winner regardless of their atendance on the night and will be phoned the next business day.

General Terms and Condi�ons

19. Members must be physically and personally present at Bankstown District Sports Club (BDSC) to claim their prize within the claim period.

20. Suspended members at the �me of the draw are not eligible to enter the draw or claim prizes.

21. Par�cipa�on is open to all those in venue over the age of 18, except employees and immediate families of the Promoter and their associated companies and agencies and par�cipa�ng outlets. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adop�on), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or 1st cousin.

22. In the event of a technical failure (including but not limited to the display screens, PA system or draw system), draws may be postponed or cancelled. Cancella�on or postpone of a draw is strictly at management discre�on and nego�a�on will not be entered into. In the event of a cancella�on, prizing of cancelled draws is forfeited and the cancelled draws value will be added to the following draw. This does not apply to the Bonus Draws -the bonus draw prize will be forfeited.

23. All winners are required to present proof of iden�ty to claim their prize.

24. BDSC is not permited to issue any more than $2,000 prize money in cash. Any prize money exceeding $2,000 must be awarded as a registered cheque or EFT. If the prize is claimed 10pm or later, the en�re prize must be issued as a registered cheque or EFT. All registered cheques will be available two business days a�er the draw, the winner/s will be contacted directly to advise them of the specific �ming.

25. This compe��on is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winner.
