*Gift Giving Societies Bangor University has established Gift Giving Societies as a way of recognising people and organisations that support the University philanthropically. All donors pledging gifts over £500 will become members of a giving group, and will be eligible to receive the benefits associated with being a part of that society. There are five Gift Giving Societies: Bangor Navigators: for those giving over £500 Bangor Guardians: for those giving over £1,000 Bangor Pioneers: for those giving over £5,000 Vice-Chancellor’s Circle: for those giving over £20,000 1884 Circle: for those who pledge to leave a legacy to the University
