STILL grieving for the tragic loss of his father, 11-year old math and science whiz Albriz Moore Comia Bagsic once again brought honors, not only to Tanauan City, but also to the whole country, after copping a silver medal in the recently concluded 11th International Math and Science Olympiad (IMSO) for Primary Schools held in Bali, Indonesia, October 5-11, 2014.

A consistent member of the Philippine Math Team competing in various international tilts, the grade 6 standout from Lilyrose School placed second in the Science Category of the annual event considered as the toughest among international math and science competitions. This year’s IMSO edition drew 226 participants from different countries such as Brunei, China, India, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and host Indonesia.
