Introducing the Eco Clipper Electric Mowing Systems

Eco Clipper offers large area mowers that help field managers minimise mowing costs while producing a professional finish. The Eco Clipper mowing system was originally developed to replace the cylinder mower in turfgrass production. The aim was to retain the cutting performance of a well-tuned cylinder mower, but not the high maintenance requirements and sensitivity to mowing conditions, such as wet grass and weeds.

The system

The smooth cutting decks with fast spinning small blades ensure a high quality of cut and a good distribution of clippings. Thanks to the electrically driven blades, the mower is very economical and quiet. The large wheels and smart mower deck linking system ensures good contour following and enables high mowing speeds.

The benefits

Users report high productivity gains and appreciate

the low maintenance requirements and the ability to schedule mowing even under less favourable mowing conditions, such as early morning dew and wet autumn, which can often prevent removal of grass clippings.

The models Municipalities and sports field and park managers have discovered the advantages of the Eco Clipper mowing system. For them, Eco Clipper now offers two versions: the 4.11m wide EC-FM4 Sport and the 3.43m wide EC-FM343. Both are positioned in front of the tractor, providing excellent visibility and comfort for the tractor driver.

The EC-FM4 Sport has four independent mowing decks, mows till 4.11m wide and folds up to 2.5m width. It only needs 50hp, but fits best to small size agricultural tractors. To meet the demand for more lightweight mowers suitable for most park tractors from 40hp upwards, the Eco Clipper FM343 has been developed. This three-part Eco Clipper front mower cuts 343cm wide and folds to a transport width of 170cm. As with the larger 411cm wide EC-FM4, electricity is provided by a PTO-powered generator behind the tractor.

Come see our mowers at Saltex on Stand 126A at Birmingham’s NEC from 30-31 October 2024. info@ecoclipper.com www.ecoclipper.com

are delighted in this

issue of Building & Facilities News to showcase Allied Telesis as our Networking Solutions Company of the Year

The latest IoT and SDN-enabled solutions now offer a range of benefits for Smart Buildings such as predictive maintenance and data analytics through to energy efficiency, helping buildings meet Net Zero emissions. Allied Telesis has been a supplier of network communications solutions for nearly four decades and showcased its industryleading portfolio of products for enterprise, government, education, and critical infrastructure customers at this year’s Smart Buildings Show.

“One of the stronger markets for us in the UK is that of smart building enablement and this traction looks set to continue beyond 2024.

“At Allied Telesis UK we have a well-versed team that understands the market, drivers, and requirements. We have a clearly defined partner programme geared to support our partners with the tools they need to win projects, and a deep understanding of our competition with the ability to cross sell if provided with a competitive solution, BoM (bill of materials) or requirement.

“We help transform buildings into intelligent, efficient, and secure environments,” outlined Chris Dyke, Sales Director UK & Ireland.

Spotlight on Allied Telesis

Allied Telesis has the industrial expertise to take network communications to the next level, utilising cutting-edge network research

and supplying autonomously controlled and managed systems. As we edge into Industry 5.0, the demands of IoT are rapidly increasing and Allied Telesis has the solutions for this network evolution.

From administration, network equipment monitoring, network status analysis and authentication of connected devices, Allied Telesis is the ‘Network Solutions Provider of Choice’ for many companies around the UK and the globe. With a focus on industry excellence, this IoT solutions powerhouse delivers unparallelled network design recommendations, project consultation, staging services, post-installation support, for truly first-class solutions.

Crouching Tiger: Hidden Dragon

With the recent announcement of tens of billions of pounds of foreign investment into the UK, optimism is rife around the tech markets. This follows months of uncertainty prior to the election and finally budget restrictions seem to be easing around a number of key markets. The forthcoming budget is still weighing heavily in people’s minds, though a large number of critical projects embracing renewed ESG policies and technology advancement are helping to keep this to a hush across the country.

Smart Buildings with integrated advanced devices are one of the strongest ways of helping meet sustainability targets, from Net Zero 2050 to the UN’s SDG goals. These interconnected technology solutions maximise energy efficiency, through installed sensors on power, lighting, security, water meters, heating, cooling and alarms; creating a sustainable building that caters to the occupants and building.

“The easing up on restrictions for education, government and defence budgets has gained traction since the election, which is great news alongside our growth in the sustainable Smart Building sector.

“The last 12-18 months have been a new chapter for the business, as we continue to move forward following the unfortunate loss of our founder Takayoshi Oshima in late 2022, who was a very strong figure running the company.

“The organisation has had a ‘reset’ with a number of new faces joining the senior leadership team, the most prominent being Dr Sachie Oshima taking over the role of CEO and Chair of the business from her father; changes to processes and strategic direction have almost naturally followed along with it. Many of these changes may not have been visible to the outside world but below the surface a lot has been going on. We have been building on his legacy but also steering the company in a direction that is looking forward,” explained Chris.

During times of flux, both internally and externally, it’s companies like Allied Telesis that ride the storm. By respecting the original heritage and vision of the business, and also diversifying into emerging sectors like Smart Building, the company shows strong business identity, tenacity and fortitude.

Why the Smart Building industry chooses Allied Telesis: As a company, the solutions provided by Allied Telesis for the Smart Building industry have been very well received for a number of reasons. Firstly, the portfolio of products covers all the bases that a landlord, real

easy-to-use, nonsolutions for world Networking Solutions Company of the Year

estate owner or tenant needs. The end-toend solution ranges from media converters and switches to firewalls and Wi-Fi solutions. Allied Telesis covers the enterprise space from data centre to SME but also the industrial/ ruggedised market - where products are hardened to support extended temperatures and poor air quality which is often found when products are positioned in a roof-space, plantroom or lift-shaft.

Secondly, these requirements are all covered by in-house designed and manufactured ranges. These “industry standard” solutions ensure that each client/MSP doesn’t need to learn multiple command lines to drive solutions - as a single operating system conveniently runs on all. Clients can also manage them via the single pane of glass management tool: Vista Manager, if preferred.

“We are very aware that supply chains have come under great strain over recent years, and we have one to be proud of, with distributed design and manufacturing plants across the globe, which proved to be invaluable during the pandemic as we continued to serve our customers when others struggled. We are also able to offer TAA/NDAA solutions for certain markets where it may be desirable to buy and operate products that do not come from China. We can accommodate this, as required,” added Chris.

Ongoing improvements to drive excellence

There have been a number of notable company developments, such as improvements to the warranty and service offering, which has greatly improved with firmware updates included in base warranty for life. Improvements to maintenance service SLAs were also added which when coupled with the already exemplary build quality and high availability toolsets like AMF+ and Vista Manager make a highly compelling solution.

Another of these was the greater use of APIs and machine language, enabling

the products to drive AI applications today and for the future. Allied Telesis’ products can communicate using an array of languages and working in an eco-system of other vendors, this helps to optimise processes and create business efficiencies. Examples of this can be seen with the relationship with Milestone and more recently Hanwha Vision where the products can be managed directly within their management systems and Allied Telesis can identify, check the health and recover devices directly using in-house tools.

Looking to the future: Intangi Iris to ESG and beyond In terms of supporting customers, Allied Telesis will launch with the excellent design tool: Intangi Iris, later this quarter. This will allow customers and partners to design better Allied solutions using this intuitive program - ensuring that common mistakes are eliminated. Both BoMs and quotes can be automatically generated along with schematics and integration with other tier 1 vendors’ equipment.

“We will be launching a number of new ranges that address the needs of customers with multi-gig ports to client devices where performance is required, more ranges supporting PoE demands above the standard 30W POE+ with up to 90W per port and a focus on 25Gb/s and 100Gb/s switches for core and aggregation use cases. A redesigned range of firewalls is coming with greatly increased performance and functionality, including stacking, to ensure high availability requirements are met. Wi-Fi 7 solutions will also join our range of hybrid enabled access points so that customers can build multi and single-channel solutions with the latest performance standards.

“Teams within the business are also working on ensuring that Allied Telesis meets the needs of our customers in terms of compliance and legislative requirements. We are working hard on our ESG

(Environmental, Social & Governance) messaging so that we can share how our supply chain and manufacturing also contribute to making Allied Telesis a key technology partner to some of the biggest organisations globally. Another key area is cyber compliance with the NIS2 and IEC62443 frameworks due to become law in Europe soon & Allied Telesis is working to ensure that we meet these demands,” explained Chris.

Networking Solutions Company of the Year

We have been incredibly impressed by the respectful reset shown by Allied Telesis since the sad passing of founder Takayoshi Oshima in 2022. It’s clear that Chair and CEO Dr Sachie Oshima will steer the company forward in the right direction, whilst rightfully honouring the exceptional legacy of her late father. With industry-standard solutions, Allied Telesis remains ahead of the curve: committed to foreseeing clients’ needs and the untapped potential of IoT and SDNenabled solutions.

“Allied Telesis is very pleased to pick up this award as the team, specifically in the UK, have worked very hard to drive our story in the market. We bring better commercial terms, often at both the initial CAPEX and ongoing OPEX metrics, flexibility for licencing and support, an agile team that are here to go the extra mile to support an opportunity and a partner programme that delivers the help, messaging, and training to bring success today and for the future,” elaborated Chris.

For any new customers or partners that would like to gain a better understanding of how Allied Telesis could help your business, please don’t hesitate to contact Chris Dyke on the details below: www.alliedtelesis.com/gb/en/contact

UK Construction Week Review – Top Exhibitors

The UK’s biggest construction event

The UK's largest built environment event, UK Construction Week took place at London’s ExCeL from 7-9 May 2024.

UK Construction Week London ran for the first time in London’s ExCeL in 2022, as the only event designed to cater for the whole construction supply chain, and attracted over 20,000, alongside Concrete Expo, The Offsite Show and Grand Designs Live. This made it the largest construction trade show in London.

With leading construction products, all the major construction professional bodies, international pavilions, industry, and government leaders, and plenty of entertainment over the 3 days, this show was deemed the must attend event for construction professionals from all over the UK and beyond.

Highlights this year included sessions from George Clarke, Architect, broadcaster, writer, and campaigner - Channel 4, MOBIE, a Health & Wellbeing in Construction Seminar in the Skills & Training Hub and Future-Proof Your Buildings - Mastering the Building Safety Act in the Culture Change Hub.

The multi award-winning show saw the debut of a new Live Demo Theatre; Skills and Training Hub; a construction-specific Recruitment Zone; new C-Suite Summits; a ‘Gumball Rally’ which finished at UKCW London; as well as a host of international exhibitors housed in pavilions from India, China, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Germany and France.

UKCW London was once again co-located with Concrete Expo and The Offsite Show, as well as the UK’s premier event for the selfbuild sector, Grand Designs Live.

This year, visitors attended talks and panels hosted by high-profile speakers including former England international footballer Trevor Steven and Andrew Lewer MP to

name but a few.

Trevor Steven, whose distinguished playing career ran from 1980-1997 and included 36 England caps, is now a Mental Health Ambassador at Causeway Technologies, and spoke on Day 1 of UKCW London (May 7th).

Also in the line-up was Andrew Lewer, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for SME Housebuilders and LUHC Select Committee, who discussed his plans for a ‘Builders’ Manifesto’.

UK Construction Week Review –

O’Reilly Precast: The Future of Offsite Construction

As the construction industry evolves, the demand for efficiency, sustainability, and safety grows. Offsite precast concrete has emerged as a modern solution, offering significant advantages over traditional in-situ methods. With its focus on precision, streamlined processes, and reduced environmental impact, offsite precast addresses many challenges faced by today's projects.

Precision and expertise

O'Reilly Precast brings over 80 years of experience, using technologies like Building Information Modelling (BIM) to ensure exact specifications. This precision reduces errors associated with on-site pouring, resulting in higher quality, durable structures. Offsite precast also allows for design flexibility, meeting both functional and

aesthetic needs while ensuring structural integrity.

Faster construction and predictable scheduling

Offsite precast offers faster construction timelines by allowing simultaneous site preparation and component manufacturing. Unlike in-situ methods, which can be delayed by weather,

precast elements are produced in controlled environments and delivered ready for installation. O'Reilly Precast's just-in-time delivery system ensures materials arrive exactly when needed, reducing delays and site congestion.

Sustainability and waste reduction

Sustainability is a priority in construction, and offsite precast supports ecofriendly goals. Controlled manufacturing generates less waste than traditional methods, while fewer deliveries reduce vehicle emissions and site disruption. O'Reilly Precast's use of low-carbon concrete further minimises environmental impact, supporting the industry's shift toward greener practices.

Improved health and safety

Offsite precast improves safety on construction sites. Factory-controlled environments protect workers from on-site hazards, such as weather or unstable ground. Fewer workers are needed on-site, reducing accident risks. Additionally, offsite production limits noise, dust, and disruption, improving site safety and comfort for nearby communities.

Cost efficiency and long-term value

While upfront costs of offsite precast may appear higher, long-term savings are substantial. Projects benefit from reduced labour, faster completion, and lower on-site expenses. O'Reilly Precast's Architectural Wall Panels (AWP) system minimises the need for scaffolding and additional insulation, further cutting costs. Faster project completion also allows other trades to begin sooner, enhancing overall efficiency.

Versatility and adaptability

Offsite precast is adaptable to a wide range of projects, from

residential and commercial builds to education and custodial facilities. Its versatility ensures it can meet various structural needs while maintaining high standards of quality and durability. It is especially suited to projects with repetitive designs, such as housing or office developments, where uniformity is crucial.

Conclusion

Offsite precast offers many advantages over traditional in-situ methods, from precision and faster timelines to sustainability and safety. O'Reilly Precast provides efficient, high-quality solutions tailored to the specific needs of modern construction, offering both environmental and cost benefits.

Top of the bill: Belfast Arena flooring

Kemtile, a division of Stonhard, has delivered a ‘top of the bill’ flooring solution by laying 1,200m2 of its Stonclad GS, a high-performance, seamless ‘power-trowelled’ resin flooring system at the popular SSE Arena in Belfast.

The SSE Arena is an indoor multipurpose venue at the heart of Belfast’s iconic Titanic Quarter which welcomes over 800,000 visitors every year to see international performers, sporting events, exhibitions, and conferences.

The venue needed a new hardwearing floor finish to replace an existing non-compliant system on its lower concourse area that experiences a large amount of

‘footfall’ during events.

For this latest project, Kemtile was asked to provide its flooring expertise and experience after installing the upper concourse floor back in 2018.

The brief was simple; to remove the current system - deemed not fit for purpose - and supply and install a new hard-wearing floor, suitable for this high profile, heavy-traffic entertainment and commercial area.

The Kemtile team was also asked if they could extend the entrance matting system to the arena's main entrance doors and most importantly have the whole project completed within four weeks.

Kemtile recommended using Stonclad GS, a seamless heavyduty, power-trowelled epoxy-based mortar system at 6mm thick. Firstly, the Kemtile team removed the old cementitious flooring system using road planers and diamond grinding. The redundant service ducts exposed by the preparation process were then treated with Stonproof CT5 a unique, flexible, crack bridging system that prevents any movement in the subfloor reflecting through the new Stonclad finish.

Fresh produce & good hygiene habits

Chef-cook Willem Amery trained at the renowned Hotelschool Ter Duinen in Koksijde, Belgium and has worked in private catering in Roeselare for over 15 years. Here he shares his top tips on kitchen hygiene during the summer months.

For me everything starts with your produce. Whether you are cooking meat, or fish or a vegetable dish, you need to ensure that everything is fresh. Of course, this poses more of a challenge in the summer months when everything needs to be kept refrigerated right up until the moment you need it.

As a professional chef, I have several fridges at different temperatures to store different produce. You can achieve the same result in your fridge at home by following a few simple steps: keep fish and meat at the bottom of the fridge as it

is always cooler. Hot air rises while cold air falls - so if you are storing prawns or scallops in the fridge be sure to put ice on top of them, not underneath them. Some vegetables and fruit – such as tomatoes – don’t need to be in the fridge at all.

Also, remember that if you are defrosting something in the summer months then you must do that in the fridge, not on the kitchen work surface as the higher temperatures can cause bacteria to form if dishes are not refrigerated.

Cheshire West & Chester Council embrace innovation with roll-out of the Ei3030 Multi-Sensor Alarm

Cheshire West and Chester Council, colloquially known as ‘CWAC’, have embraced new technologies by recently adopting a revised specification to ensure the safety of its residents. This involves fitting Aico’s flagship Ei3030 MultiSensor Alarm across their housing stock on upgrade programs and where replacements are required.

The combined Optical, Heat and Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm was launched in summer 2023 and is quickly being adopted across social housing as the

Additionally, if Cheshire West and Chester Council were to make future improvement to their housing portfolio, they would have the ability to easily implement Aico’s HomeLINK Technology to monitor issues such as damp and mould, indoor air quality and compliance. The Connected Home Solution features the Ei1000G Gateway as the hub of the solution, collating data via Aico’s HomeLINK Environmental Sensors and creating actionable insights for landlords to view on the HomeLINK Portal.

‘go-to’ device due to its reliability and ease of use. With three proven, reliable sensors in one unit to ensure accurate Fire and CO detection, the Ei3030 eliminates the need for multiple alarms, simplifying installation and maintenance. Furthermore, the multi-sensor alarm is equipped with additional features, such as Intelligent Dust Compensation, whilst integrated software allows the sensors to work together for the extraction and monitoring of real-time data to allow for proactive safety measures to be taken.

Fitted in Ellesmere Port properties, the multi-sensor alarms were installed by the Liberty Group. Their team attended Aico’s Expert Installer Training earlier this year, ensuring they have all the information they need to efficiently install domestic Fire and Carbon Monoxide Alarm Systems for effective protection.

James Fishwick, Electrical Contracts Manager for the Liberty Group, has stressed how pleased they are to be asked to fit the alarms, “This is such a good alarm and ticks so many boxes in one go. We were keen to start fitting them as soon as our client gave us the new specification. We’re now starting to see them on others around the country as well. It’s a no brainer.”

Carl Traynor, Aico Relationship Manager for Merseyside echoes the statement. “As a former electrician and compliance manager myself, I was used to fitting multiple alarms to cover both smoke and CO. I was always particularly cautious around

the migration factor, where CO can be produced in one room or even an adjacent property and have devastating consequences on another. This combined unit is ideal to mitigate these risks.”

All Aico’s products are manufactured in Shannon, Ireland, and each unit undergoes comprehensive testing to ensure reliability and accuracy. Aico’s 32 Relationship Managers span across the UK and are on hand to offer guidance and support on the implementation of Aico’s home life safety systems.

Imperium Fire Consultancy: Importance of EV Installation Risk Assessments

Imperium Fire offers comprehensive fire safety services and solutions with over 23 years’ experience working in tandem with The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order across all services including:

s BAFE SP205 certified fire risk assessments

s BlueSky UKAS certified fire door inspections

s DSEAR risk assessments

s General fire safety consultancy

One of the most enduring ‘hot topics’ in the industry is EV Charging Installations and the lack of competent Risk Assessments. Sadly, Electric Vehicles and other Lithium-ion Battery vehicles (E Scooters, E Bikes etc) have been subject to ongoing social media misinformation. While we are not underestimating the importance and potential dangers associated with these, not all EV vehicle fires are caused by the Li-ion traction batteries.

Many report ‘Thermal Runaway’ as the problem but the reality is, ‘thermal runaway’ is the volatile, chemical reaction of the cells within the traction battery box leading to volatile toxic gasses, extreme heat and flames. The

result of the cell thermal runaway is ignition of the rest of the vehicle (a ‘traditional’ fire of fuel, oxygen and heat).

EV fires are infinitely more complex. They emit highly toxic gasses like Hydrogen Fluoride, cannot be extinguished with water (as it only serves to cool), the water runoff is highly toxic, and current car park designs are a risk with cars so tightly packed together, that any fire (whatever the cause) will almost certainly cause catastrophic damage.

An article written by OAMPS states, “EV charging areas are sometimes positioned where it’s most convenient or cost-effective. This can be problematic; if your EV charging area is near emergency exit routes or business critical infrastructure, the consequences of a fire could be catastrophic. This is an area where blame could attach to both site owners/operators as well as the contractors involved in the design and construction of the installation, and any property losses or physical injury claims arising from the positioning of the charging area would likely rest with them.

“If the contractor was responsible for the design of the site, then they would most likely be joining the site owner in any subsequent legal action.”

To address these issues, Imperium Fire Consultancy offers:

s EV Charging Installation Risk Assessments (also BESS)

s Lithium-Ion Battery Storage Solutions for E-Bikes, E Scooters, power tool batteries, laptops and more

s Lithium-ion Battery Fire Blankets (in all sizes)

Imperium Fire Consultancy offers expert turnkey solutions to support operators and installers of EV charging infrastructure. The team helps ensure safety best practices from the design stage through to improving compliance levels.

Thurston Group blazes trail in fire safety

Leading manufacturer of modular buildings, Thurston Group, is setting the industry standard for fire safety and sustainability, with a £250,000 investment to achieve early compliance with upcoming changes to construction site legislation in January 2025, becoming the first manufacturer to achieve EPC A rating while maintaining the highest fire safety standards.

Tough new requirements are being rolled out in January 2025 by the Fire Protection Association's Joint Code of Practice (JCoP) to reduce the risk of fire on construction sites, specifically regarding the provision of temporary buildings, hired or purchased.

Wakefield-headquartered Thurston Group manufactures 4,200 temporary accommodation units per year and has invested significantly in product development and testing to ensure its units comply with the guidance and requirements, which come into effect on 1st January next year.

Thurston's Temporary Accommodation Units have been tested and surpassed JCoP requirements. The achievement in surpassing JCoP requirements while attaining an EPC A rating highlights Thurston's dedication to providing the safest and most energy-efficient temporary accommodation solutions for the construction industry.

The new JCoP v10.1 legislation stipulates improvements in materials' fire performance for temporary accommodation units being installed within six metres of a building, a greater focus on reducing fire spreading, such as ensuring doors and windows are fitted with automatic self-closers and a greater emphasis on units maintaining their load bearing capacity (R,) along with structural integrity (E,) and their thermal insulation (I)1 for a minimum of 30 minutes.

Belfast’s historic Titanic Distillers chooses Hochiki fire safety

112 years after the namesake ship's voyage, Belfast's first distillery in nearly 90 years opens in the restored Pumphouse building. This historic site presented a unique fire safety challenge due to the flammable nature of the whiskey-making process.

Atlas World, a fire safety specialist, was tasked with installing a system that balanced safety with preserving the building's heritage.

Hochiki's ESP multi-sensors and optical sensors were chosen for their adaptability and because they could be programmed to account for environmental factors like steam and heat, minimising false alarms that could disrupt operations and damage the distillery's reputation.

Hochiki's loop-powered sounders and beacons provided crucial visual alerts for noisy areas and those using ear protection, whilst their low energy consumption maximised system efficiency.

Maintaining the building's historical integrity was vital. Hochiki's products boasted a discreet design, seamlessly blending in with the surroundings.

Supply chain issues threatened the project timeline, but Hochiki provided alternative solutions ensuring on-time completion. Atlas World was impressed with Hochiki's communication and problem-solving.

The success of this project solidified Hochiki as Atlas World's preferred fire safety supplier, and Atlas World managing the ongoing

maintenance of the Hochiki life safety system.

Beyond the technical aspects, the project also had a significant cultural impact. The Titanic Distillers is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world. The distillery's commitment to safety, including the Hochiki fire protection system, played a crucial role in ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all.

The project also highlighted the importance of collaboration between heritage experts, fire safety professionals, and technology providers. By working together, they were able to create a safe and welcoming environment

that respected the building's history while meeting modern safety standards.

As the Titanic Distillers continues to thrive, the Hochiki fire safety system remains a vital component of its operations. The distillery's success is a testament to the effectiveness of the system and the importance of investing in fire protection for heritage buildings.

If you are a facilities manager in charge of looking after a building of historical importance head to the Hochiki website to learn more about the Hochiki products used in this story.

Dream haven: The guide to creating a sleep sanctuary

Wren's interiors guru, Debra Hutt, has shared her expert tips to help homeowners and renters alike transform their space into a serene and stylish retreat. Say goodnight to bedroom nightmares and hello to a restful oasis where you can truly relax and unwind.

The big sort-out – "Start by making three piles, one for 'keep', one for 'donate' and another for 'recycling' and make sure to be ruthless when making your piles; if the item isn't used, it will have more purpose with a new owner. These three sections should include clothing, shoes, accessories, beauty products, books and all of the commonly found

miscellaneous items we find hiding in our bedrooms."

Seasonal switch-ups – "Once you have your 'keep pile' you may find that there are many items that you won't be needing until next season. In order to save space, these items can be tucked away until you need them. Vacuum bags are a great way to maximise storage space, compressing your clothing within one bag which can be simply tucked away within a cupboard or under the bed."

Pairing the right storage to your space – "Under-bed drawers are a great option for organising smaller bedrooms as they are both spacesaving and practical. Typically, they are made to slide out like ordinary drawers and fit conveniently under your bed frame, or the bed itself will lift to reveal the storage.”

Utilising your available wall space –"Whether your room is large or small, utilising the space from floor to ceiling is the ideal way to maximise height as well as wall width.”

Corporates lead EMEA’s flexspace revolution

The corporate world is driving a profound transformation in the flexible office space sector, according to Colliers' latest Flexpansion report.

Major companies like HSBC, KPMG, and Microsoft are embracing flexible office solutions, catalysing a shift from coworking spaces to corporate grade facilities. This evolution is reshaping the landscape across EMEA, where flexible office stock grew by 161,303 sqm in 2023, despite economic challenges.

James Walton, Head of Colliers SmartFlex, explained, "The flex sector has evolved from being a haven for startups and project space into a critical component of corporate real estate strategy. Corporates are seeking flexible, scalable solutions that provide agility and align with hybrid working trends. This revolution is not just about space; it's about creating environments that inspire productivity while offering the flexibility modern businesses need." Key corporate demand has led

to a surge in the adoption of managed spaces, which offer greater customisation and privacy than traditional coworking setups. Corporates are increasingly integrating flexible office spaces into their operations to simplify office delivery, provide attractive work environments, and access state-of-the-art amenities. This demand has led to flex spaces becoming a standard feature in new developments, with many operators securing leases even before construction.

Additionally, the report highlights a trend of consolidation in the sector, as players like Industrious, IWG and Platform acquire prime spaces vacated by WeWork. Traditional landlords are also entering the flex market, with 231 new landlord-led sites launched since 2020. This reflects a broader shift towards service-oriented real estate, driven by the needs of corporate clients.

Uniting the sector. Making lives better.

The annual Housing 2024 conference, held at Manchester Central from 25-27 June 2024, is the biggest housing sector conference in the UK and provided a range of opportunities for businesses and individuals throughout the UK housing sector to come together, share ideas, and push for further innovation.

Housing 2024 is the annual event that many in the housing sector get excited about and this year’s conference came at an especially interesting time because it coincided with the UK General Election and news regarding the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund, both of which were hot topics of conversation

throughout the week.

There were a number of well-known figures delivering keynote speeches throughout the conference, including Greater Manchester Mayor, Andy Burnham, columnist and commentator, Gaby Hinsliff, and broadcaster, Ranvir Singh.

Visitors attended a variety of panels discussing everything from how to tackle the skills shortage the sector is experiencing to the best ways to sufficiently reward residents who volunteer their time in their local neighbourhood.

As well as having the opportunity to meet clients and fellow industry professionals, Housing 24 gave visitors plenty of fresh insights that will allow them to continue to enhance and improve services and meet the ever-changing needs of clients and residents.

Some of the most interesting discussions and thoughts that came up during the conference included:

1. Retrofit Decarbonisation – Environmental concerns are quite rightly at the heart of so many discussions happening across the UK housing sector, so it was incredibly interesting to learn more about the ways businesses are

already successfully delivering projects at scale and how different professionals in the industry can get involved to inspire even greater change.

2. Housing and Establishing Communities – Housing is so much more than bricks and mortar, it also plays a central role in the development of strong communities. This is something everyone in the housing sector must highlight at every opportunity because it provides vital input to so many other conversations, particularly when it comes to the rental market, social housing, and the needs of an ageing population.

Housing 2025 returns next year to Manchester Central from 24-26 June 2025. This is our pick of the best exhibitors from this year’s event, listed here in alphabetical order: Epix Systems, Green Energy Switch, Hi Spec & ODCGIS. Further details can be found on this page and the next two.

By sharing best practice across all our clients, they all get to benefit and save time and money.”

Michael Barber, the Digital and Transformation Director at Chelmer Housing Partnership (CHP) explained their reasoning for having a GIS Managed Service “When faced with the challenge of replacing a very experienced team member, we decided that the most expedient route was to consider using a managed service. Our demand for tasks from a GIS Analyst fluctuated quite a

lot and the skill was hard to find. ODCGIS offered up a perfect solution for a realistic price. We have been very impressed with the responsiveness, quality and speed of delivery from ODCGIS and would not hesitate to recommend them. This proved to be a wise decision, rather than a default option!”

You don’t need to have a GIS to take advantage of ODCGIS’ unique service, they have a solution. Contact Rick at: rick@odc.co.uk or visit the website at: www.odc.co.uk

Demand for temporary CCTV towers rises

Rapidly declining rates in health and safety standards on UK construction sites is sparking industry-wide concern and a growing need for firms across the country to install temporary CCTV towers, say Kingdom Systems. Kingdom, who secure hundreds of construction sites each year, warn about the declining levels of health and safety compliance from sub-contractors, especially on some more temporary sites, which is putting workers at risk of serious injury and costing companies millions in claims.

Temporary CCTV towers help prevent workplace injury with adaptive AI technology, ensuring tradespeople wear appropriate PPE on construction sites. As shocking Health and Safety Executive (HSE)

stats show, workplace injury costs the industry upwards of £16.2 billion every year with 2022/2023 reporting a higher rate of construction-related fatalities than years prior.

As well as this, health and safety inspections on sites have decreased in the past decade - with decreases of 32% in HSE inspections since 2013/2014 This combination of costly claims and unsafe practices going under the radar have left UK firms clambering for innovative solutions. The issue lies largely in the hands of individual firms to tackle, and for site managers to put preventative measures in place.

Regularly, project managers and UK firms find themselves unable to continuously monitor all tradespeople for safety compliance. This makes construction sites a hot spot for work-related injury. In particular, site managers of temporary sites have a difficult choice between choosing to install expensive permanent CCTV only to dismantle it, or risk their worker's safety and profits due to noncompliance.

Monitor and manage damp and mould

Intelligent remote monitoring and management technology from Vericon Systems is helping Plus Dane Housing to manage and prevent the harmful effects of damp and mould across its estate.

Plus Dane is a social housing group that owns and manages more than 13,000 homes across Cheshire and Merseyside, as well as providing support and advice services to help its customers live comfortably in their homes.

Chris Roberts, Sustainability Manager at Plus Dane Housing, says the company is constantly looking at new ways to create greater efficiencies and enhance its service offering to its customers. “Although the Vericon system has only been live for a matter of months, we are already seeing positive results,” he says.

“With the ability to proactively monitor, manage and evaluate humidity levels within our properties, we can prevent the build-up of damp and mould and all of the problems they bring. Vericon’s ongoing service and support has been first class.”

Three must-have products for the construction industry

Mudfords is a premier specialist in custommade covers, offering an extensive range of tarpaulins, hessian and jute sheets, nets, straps and slings, ropes and cords, sandbags, and other bespoke products tailored primarily for the construction and transport industries.

Founded nearly 200 years ago in 1832 by ropemaker John Horace Mudford, who pioneered hand-spun hemp, the company has a rich history. In 2018, Mudfords became part of the Stuart Canvas Group, a leading UK supplier of sports grounds and industrial covers.

As a member of the Stuart Canvas Group, Mudfords focuses on wholesale importing of textile-based products for the construction, building, and haulage sectors, as well as manufacturing bespoke covers. Now operating from new premises in Sheffield, the Yorkshirebased team benefits from expanded warehouse storage facilities for its comprehensive product range. Known for its exceptional customer service, Mudfords fosters long-term relationships and consistently delivers premium products.

In this article, we focus on three products: Pallet Covers, Heavy Duty Tarpaulins, and Debris Netting.

Pallet Covers

Pallet covers are highly useful in the building industry for a variety of reasons. They offer crucial protection from environmental elements, help control dust and debris, and ensure the stabilisation of pallets.

uninterrupted by adverse weather conditions.

Their heavy-duty nature means they can withstand harsh conditions and repeated use, offering a cost-effective solution for long-term projects. They are also great for security purposes, as they can obscure valuable equipment and materials from view, reducing the risk of theft or vandalism.

Mudfords Heavy Duty Tarpaulin 610gsm are available in green or blue and manufactured from a sturdy durable PVC coated polyester. The tarpaulins are available in a range of sizes from 3.5m x 2.75m all the way up to 10m x 6m making the product ideal for all round use.

Investing in pallet covers enhances the integrity, safety, and organisation of materials, making them a practical choice for any construction or transport operation.

Mudfords pallet covers are waterproof and reusable and ideal for multiple uses. Made from durable 140gsm lightweight PE material, each cover comes complete with metal eyelets on all corners, hemmed bottoms, sealed seams, and are available in three different sizes.

s Small – 1,000(W) x 1,200(L) x 500(H) mm

s Medium – 1,000(W) x 1,200(L) x 1,000(H) mm

s X Large – 1,000(W) x 1,200(L) x 2,000(H) mm

Heavy Duty Tarpaulins

Heavy Duty Tarpaulins are invaluable in the building industry due to their versatility, durability, and protective qualities. Tarpaulins protect building materials from rain, snow, and sun, preventing damage and deterioration, and can also serve as temporary roofs during construction, ensuring that work continues

Debris Netting

The tarpaulins come complete with eyelets every 4 feet and ropes with reinforced corners making them flexible to cater to more than one job. The product is incredibly versatile but is mainly used for Trailer Covers, Machine Protection and Camping Sheets.

Mudfords also has a 150gsm heavy-duty tarpaulin which is a great waterproof cover for many uses. It comes complete with eyelets all round and is ideally used for Garden Furniture, General Industry, Haystacks, and Mechanical Equipment.

The Heavy Duty Tarpaulins consistently receives 5-star reviews from customers. Here are three reviews.

“The tarpaulin arrived within days of ordering. It’s very well made, and the ropes along the edges are a bonus. Excellent value for money.”

“Flexible and robust material that is easy to handle. I purchased mine to cover an iW trailer and I’m delighted. Highly recommended.”

“Perfect for covering a small boat, extremely thick and will be long lasting.”

Debris Netting is the go-to environmentally friendly option for many customers working in the construction and scaffolding sectors because of its ability to contain dust and small particles, minimising environmental pollution and maintaining a cleaner work environment. Alongside being used to maintain a safe, efficient and compliant construction site, Debris Netting is brilliant for providing a barrier against wind, rain, and other weather conditions, protecting workers and materials on site.

Of course, visibility is a crucial feature of the product. Mudfords has green, white, red, black, blue, orange, and yellow coloured Debris Netting. The reason Debris Netting is made of brightly coloured materials is because it increases visibility and alerts people to the presence of construction work while enhancing overall site safety.

Mudfords Debris Netting is polyethene knitted netting that keeps people and traffic safe from debris on scaffolding sites.

Each netting is designed with several key features that make it ideal for the building industry. Each roll is 50m long and come in widths of 2m and 3m. Furthermore, it is now packaged more compactly, minimising the use of environmentally harmful materials during shipping. Made from durable monofilament polyethylene knitted netting, it provides robust protection on construction sites. The 3m wide netting includes eyelets across its width at 1m intervals, while all sizes feature eyelets along the length at 10cm intervals, ensuring easy and secure installation.

SEVIOUR TIMBER FRAMES: The exceptional craftsmanship that you deserve

Timber frames have become increasingly popular across the building trade and carry considerable advantages. These include enhanced thermal/airtightness/fire-rated performance, design flexibility, speed of building, reduced on/off-site wastage, building regulations compliance, and lifetime cost savings from energy-efficient structures.

In short, choosing timber frames ensures a highly insulated, airtight building fabric, helping achieve energy smart buildings for the future.

Seviour Timber Frames Ltd is a family-run company providing energy efficient timber frames for a full range of applications across the public and private sectors. These include: single houses, social houses, schools, hotels and hospitals.

of joists to create the perfect build every time.

The Bath-based company was established six years ago, built off the back off a previous experienced business and now uses a dedicated timber frame facility for all off-site work.

“I’ve been involved with timber frames since the age of 16 through my early apprenticeships. Since that time, I’ve been closely following the evolution of timber frames ever since. We are now using all types of insulation but mainly focus on ACTIS Insulation and H-Control. These products provide better U-value and make it easier to achieve a better airtightness.

We have completed timber builds in North Devon hospitals and hotels, with single builds delivered across the UK and one of our turnkey Bath houses was featured recently in a self-build magazine.

With over 25 years’ experience, the team, under the watchful eye of Managing Director, Craig Seviour, employ different styles of timber frames, cut and trussed roofs and a wide range

Seviour Timber Frames provide a complete timber package service: bronze, silver, gold and platinum, alongside our bespoke timber frame service with the highest quality joists and roofs, with a range of insulation to suit the client’s preference, budget and style.

“We now exclusively offer Project Managers for builds and/ or a Timber Frame Consultant for any company's timber frame, so the frame can be overseen and report written by an independent timber frame consultant. For our more independent clients, we offer self-build training for those that wish to build the timber frames themselves,” explains Craig.

Craig personally oversees the entire manufacturing and erecting process through to the timber frame sign off, offering seamless project management and quality assurance to customers throughout.

Seviour Timber Frames builds all its timber frames off-site, in the controlled timber frame facility. This energy efficient approach ensures the minimum amount of waste, with reduced carbon.

“Using our off-site facility also speeds up the building process, as we are not impacted by poor weather. This means the timber frames can be watertight in days, rather than weeks.

“We treat all customers personally – they are never ‘just a job’ to us and pride ourselves on offering up-to-date communication throughout the project. We know building projects can be stressful for customers, so always make sure any worries and fears are allayed.

“Looking to the future, we plan on expanding production due to increased demand, whilst maintaining our client-driven service, with market-leading timber frame builds, delivered on time.”

Protek and GTC launch innovative solutions for timber protection and durability

Protek and Gloucester Timber Company (GTC) recently introduced Protek ESP to combat water damage in the timber industry. Their new product, 'ESP Panel,' seals plywood edges to prevent delamination, a common cause of structural and safety issues. Tested by BM TRADA, it protects plywood in extreme wet conditions, with one litre covering 200 metres of 18mm plywood edges – enough for 21 full sheets.

Protek is an independent, family-owned woodcare manufacturing business located in Somerset, UK. Since its establishment in 1983, this innovative company has aimed to produce high-quality, water-based wood stains, paints, decorative timber coatings, and preservatives. Renowned for its expertise and reliability, Protek offers a comprehensive range of products that provide excellent coverage, durable finishes, and environmental friendliness.

“The company was set up by my mother and father, Eric & Janet Thornborough. Protek has always been pioneering in

Works

its environmental awareness, only making water-based products when creosote was still universally used. With a mission to change the manufacture of all fencing and shed products to our new water-based wood stains and treatments, our Protek 9 Star Fence Grade, diluted with 9 parts water soon became the industry standard. The decisions we make today to limit the impact we have on the environment is the same philosophy that Protek was created on, and one we continue to improve upon,” said Harriet Farquhar B.Sc. Joint Managing Director & daughter of Eric and Janet.

Another standout product, 'Timber Eco Shield,' uses nanotechnology for a waterproof finish that protects timber while inhibiting mold growth. It's ideal for softwood, hardwood, pressure-treated timbers, sheds, fencing, garden furniture, and more.

We asked Harriet about the advantages Protek products offer to their clients. She explained, “As manufacturers, we can swiftly adjust colours to align with current trends

Pioneering techniques used in vital repair work

Pioneering concrete techniques and products have been piloted during vital repair and restoration work at Eden Camp, modern history museum near Malton – part of a scope of work made possible by £230,000 of the £16.9 million Shared Prosperity Funding allocated to North Yorkshire.

The huts which house the visitor experience at Eden Camp were built by the Italian Prisoners in 1942 as makeshift accommodation, which was only predicted to last for up to 10 years.

They have exceeded their lifespan by over 80 years and were in need of urgent repair. The funding went towards vital repairs in order to restore and preserve the huts, protecting them against further weather damage and deterioration. As well as repairs and replacements

to windows and doors, hut roofs have been replaced where needed, while the concrete frameworks of the huts have been replaced and restored to ensure their longevity and durability.

Nick Hill, Museum Manager at Eden Camp, said, “We are passionate about keeping history alive for future generations, and the SPF money has meant we were able to carry out these repairs in a relatively short time; much of the work involved the use of heritage skills to maintain the huts’ authenticity.

“We strongly believe in sourcing as much as possible locally, so it’s great that the work itself has been delivered by businesses in the surrounding area.”

and fashions. Additionally, Protek collaborates closely with its industrial customers to create bespoke products, tailoring each to meet specific requirements and needs.”

Protek offers superior products with excellent coverage and long-lasting finishes. As a family-run business, it prioritises environmental friendliness in its manufacturing processes, earning the trust of loyal clients. Its sustainable range of products supports ecofriendly building practices and significantly reduces long-term costs.

Bradshaw’s Goupil Vehicles to take centre stage at Fleet & Mobility Live

Bradshaw EV, which since 1976 has grown to become the UK’s leading supplier and manufacturer of electric utility vehicles, is set to exhibit its increasingly popular Goupil range at Fleet & Mobility Live on Stand No. C30.

Bradshaw EV has been at the forefront of the sweeping shift towards electric vehicles over the past four decades, with the rising popularity of its all-electric Goupil range within the private and public sector being a personal testament to this seismic change.

Also on display is the new Goupil G4 Refuse Collection Vehicle (RCV), which is expertly designed for satellite operations, efficient discharging of waste into larger collection vehicles, streamlining waste collection rounds, and reducing overall time on the streets. Equipped with an aluminium body and a robust bin lift system, Bradshaw’s G4 RCV offers a sustainable and efficient alternative to traditional refuse collection methods.

Each vehicle within the range also comes with the added benefit of being able to be charged via a typical 3-pin plug socket, removing the need for investment into expensive charging infrastructure.

Ramsy Labassi, Marketing Manager at Bradshaw Electric Vehicles, commented, “We’re excited to be showcasing our Goupil range at Fleet & Mobility Live, an event that highlights the challenges fleets face today and the innovative solutions available to overcome them.

“Our Goupil range has grown in popularity in recent years, as organisations across the public and private sectors look to integrate reliable, zeroemission options within their fleets to assist in driving forward their sustainability plans, without compromising on operational efficiency.

As organisations across the UK look to drive down emissions and integrate zero-emission vehicles into their fleets, the Goupil vehicles now feature across a wide range of industries, including lastmile, waste management, and site maintenance.

Versatile in their design, the Goupil vehicles can be equipped with lead acid or lithium batteries and can each be tailored directly to the customer’s requirements – which is furthermore complemented through their newly formed relationship with vehicle conversion and racking specialists, Bott – who fitted out a G4 Box Van with a state-of-the-art racking system, dubbed the Vario3.

The G4 road vehicles on offer include pickups, vans and waste collectors, all designed to transport people and equipment for a variety of different applications. With an operational range of 101 miles and maximum speed of 31mph, the G4s can be equipped with an array of body types to cater to the customer’s specific requirements and feature a safe and secure cabin as well as both left and right hand drive options.

System integrations a major pain point

During the BESA Annual Conference in April 2024, SFG20, the industry standard for building maintenance specifications, found through a virtual poll that 67% of facilities management professionals are affected by issues relating to FM technology. Almost half cited system integration as a particular pain point within their business. When FM systems are unable to integrate with SFG20 and content must be imported manually, it often results in out-of-date and incomplete data.

“The Goupils’ versatility and ability to be customised for specific tasks has made it a popular choice across a wide variety of sectors from facilities and site management to waste collection and we’re very much looking forward to showcasing their advantages to visitors at the show.”

Adaptive FM critical

Workplaces need to be maintained and managed in a more agile and responsive way if they are to serve the needs of a hybrid work environment and support the return to the office, according to new research from Colliers, a leading diversified professional services and investment management company.

Over half of those polled cited adhering to a maintenance standard as their most pressing issue. Facility managers said that they struggle to keep on top of the quantity of updates to the SFG20 standard, in response to an ever-changing legislative landscape.

With changes to regulations and legislation being commonplace within the industry, ensuring work is being carried out to the latest standard is of utmost importance.

In response to these findings and the challenges Facilities Managers

face, SFG20 is introducing its Digital Partner Programme. The programme has been created to support companies that have integrated their facilities management systems into SFG20's new software solution, Facilities-iQ. This new software solution allows users to create maintenance plans, tailor them to site-specific requirements, receive notifications when the standard is updated and then choose when to implement those updates. With this brand-new integration, SFG20 content seamlessly flows into other FM systems such as CAFM, CMMS and IWMS for operational activity.

To find out more information about how to join the programme and which partners are coming soon, visit the website: www.sfg20.co.uk/ digital-partner-programme

Colliers Global Occupier Services' new report Adaptive Facilities Management – a new vision in agility reveals traditional facilities management (FM) models, where services are delivered at fixed frequencies and costs, are no longer fit for purpose, due to occupancy levels at many workplaces remaining in flux.

By embracing adaptive FM strategies, organisations can not only optimise space and resources but also improve the employee experience through more responsive and tailored services.

"To bring workers back to the office, you have to examine the reasons they give for not wanting to go in the first place," explained Nicholas Marsh,

Colliers' EMEA Head of Enterprise FM Advisory. "Lack of desk space, substandard equipment, difficulty accessing amenities – facilities management plays a critical role in understanding and addressing all these pain points."

"Employees have been conditioned by their experiences as consumers," Marsh continued. "It needs to be as easy and seamless as possible for staff to book a meeting room, plug in their laptops, and display the video or presentation on the wall. We have to create a frictionless experience in terms of FM to make people want to come back to work."

Specialty Chemicals & Gases Company of the Month

Delta-T by Blended Products: A game-changer for the building sector

We are delighted, in this issue of Building & Facilities News, to showcase Blended Products as our Specialty Chemicals & Gases Company of the Month

Blended Products offers ‘specialist gas and chemical products of choice’ across the sector, working with leading global and national brands.

The North Lincolnshire-based company supplies bulk and packaged natural refrigerants and industrial gases, as well as their Blended Fluids range of fluids for heat transfer, maintenance and energy saving. In addition, Blended offer a range of services, from conducting essential repairs, to assisting in the sourcing of specialty equipment. Established in 2003 by Managing Director, Alex Robinson, Blended is celebrating its 21st anniversary this October.

It’s been a busy twelve months for Blended, culminating in a successful exhibition at InstallerSHOW2024 this summer. InstallerSHOW is the unmissable trade show for the latest advanced installer innovations across heat, water, air and energy technology and Blended did not disappoint, as Emma Watson, Marketing Manager explains, “InstallerSHOW 2024 was our 3rd year exhibiting at the event, and we were impressed by the number of visitors it drew in. Our range of specialty fluids were well received; in particular ThermablendTX, our non-hazardous heat transfer fluid for renewable heating systems, which has

grown in popularity amongst merchants and installers due to its multi-application properties, being suitable for ground source heat pumps, air source heat pumps, solar thermal systems, radiators and underfloor heating. We will be exhibiting again next year.”

With the race towards Net Zero 2050, spurred on by the UK Government’s Energy Security Bill 2022, the planned 600,000 heat pumps by 2028 have seen record numbers of newly qualified heat pump installers this year. With this in mind, Thermablend-TX offers versatile application including ground source heat pumps, with a range of holistic benefits such as:

s Thermablend-TX is biodegradable, and non-hazardous

s Thermablend-TX reduces carbon footprint and lowers energy costs

s Thermablend-TX offers industry-leading low viscosity and high thermal conductivity: enhanced heat pump performance s Thermablend-TX come pre-mixed with highly a stable biocide and inhibitor

“If you’re looking for sustainability best practice, our Thermal Xcellence (TX) fluids have high heat transfer properties, resulting in lower energy costs and a reduced carbon footprint,” stressed Emma.

Revolutionary new product to reduce heating and cooling associated energy demands by up to 27% launched to market From heat transfer fluids to a new surfactant launched in September, Blended is looking for ways to support customers with a market-leading range of products. Introducing Delta-T: the latest addition to the Blended Fluids range. Delta-T is a liquid additive, utilising a patented formula developed by chemicals firm SafeSol following 15 years of research.

It works by reducing the surface tension of water, which allows water within a heating or cooling system to reach a much greater surface area of heat exchangers, leading to a dramatic increase in heat transfer efficiency. In university tests, a space heated by a

copper coil got to 24ºC 3.2 times faster with Delta-T.

It means Delta-T delivers faster warming and cooling of spaces, with the potential to cut associated running costs by up to 27%.

Partnering with Safesol, Blended are delighted to distribute the award-winning surfactant to maximise the efficiency of water-based heating and cooling systems.

Delta-T won the Air Conditioning Product of the Year: Components or Peripherals at the RAC Cooling Awards 2024 and is welcome news for lowering energy costs carbon footprint. Bradford Council undertook a three-month product trial and found that Delta-T reduced energy costs by 27% for its main hub: a grand Victorian building with a 20,000-litre heating system. This equated to a yearly energy cost saving of £33,600 and an impressive 31T reduction in CO2 output.

“Since our September launch of Delta-T, we’ve had huge interest in this product from councils, commercial and residential properties.

“Delta-T is a game-changer: reducing energy consumption: heating and cooling costs and CO2 emissions across the existing public and private building sector,” concluded Emma.
