Motichoor Ladoo Recipe

MOTICHOOR LADOO RECIPE | SWEET RECIPES | LADOO RECIPE Motichoor ladoo comes under popular Indian sweet recipes. In my website I have posted many Indian sweet recipes like -:) Pista ladoo, Kheer, Coconut barfi, Bajra churma ladoo, Malpu, Bundiya etc. In Diwali motichoor ladoo is very important part of our Ganesh and Laxmi puja. We can’t imagine any festival without it. Motichur ladoo is made from tiny besan balls dipped in sugar syrup. Generally we think that it is very tough to make motichoor ladoo at home but trust me it is not. The key factor of this ladoo recipe is it’s batter so try to make perfect batter for it. In my post I have explained the process of making perfect batter so that you can’t get any problem in making batter. Please read carefully the process and tips before going to make my ladoo recipe.

MAKE SUGAR SYRUP. At first, make sugar syrup using sugar and water. You can add rose water and kesar in it. Do not bother about sugar consistency. Just use the amount, I have said.

MIX INGREDIENTS In a bowl mix besan, color, baking soda,rava/rice flour, and milk leave it for 10 minutes .

CHECK THE CONSISTENCY OF BATTER To check the consistency of batter with the help of knife pour one-two drops of batter in hot ghee if it forms ball like shape then it is perfect but if it is making tail shape bundis then your batter is too thick so add 1-2 tsp water in it and if your bundis flatten then it means your batter is thin then add 1 tsp besan in it and mix it properly. Now again check your batter consistency if it is perfect then go ahead to make motichoor ladoo.

DEEP FRY BUNDIES Take one small hole puniya (ladle with hole). You can use regular puniya having big hole if you do not have small hole puniya. Pour some amount of batter in it and deep fry bundis

ADD BUNDIES TO SUGAR SYRUP With the help of another puniya take fried bundis out and transfer it to warm sugar syrup.

CLEAN PUNIYA Each time you pour bundis in oil clean puniya properly from both sides. In this way deep fry all bundis and transfer it to sugar syrup.

ADD DRY FRUITS (GRIND BUNIDS IF USING BIG HOLE PUNIYA) Leave it for 15 minutes then add chopped dry fruits ,cardamom powder and essence in it but if, you have used big hole puniya the grind it in your grinder for 2 sec on low speed and then add dry fruits, cardamom powder and essence in it.

MAKE LADOO Now make motichoor ladoos from it.

TIPS • If your besan is a bit rough ground then leave your batter for 15 minutes. • If you are making motichoor ladoos for journey then do not mix batter in milk. • To make your ladoos more beautiful deep fry some green and red colour bundies and mix with ladoo boondis.
