SOAK TAMARIND Soak tamarind in water and keep it aside.

DRY ROAST FLAX SEEDS In a dry pan, roast flax seeds on the high flame. When it starts cracking and you start getting an aroma from it, then immediately switch off the flame and take out roasted flax seeds from it. Do not roast it more, else it will give you the burning taste. Keep it aside and let it cool completely.

MEANWHILE, HEAT OIL Meanwhile, in a pan heat oil.

ADD RED CHILI STICK Add read chili sticks to it and make all brown.

ADD PTATO, WATER AND SPICES Reduce the flame to low and add potato, water, salt and turmeric powder to it.

MIX AND COVER Mix it properly and cover it. Cook it on the low flame. Stir occasionally.

MEANWHILE , GRINDE FLAX SEEDS Our potato pieces are cooking, meanwhile we will grind the roasted flax seeds. Do not grind it too much , else it will release its oil and will ruin the taste of your curry.

MIX FLAX SEEDS POWDER WITH WATER Mix flax seeds powder with water and keep aside.

COOK AND MAKE BROWN Cook potatoes properly and make potatoes brown. If your potato is not cooked yet , then add some water and cook.

ADD FLAX SEEDS TO COOKED POTATO Our potato pieces are cooked properly, now we will pour the mixture of flax seeds and water to it.

MIX AND LET IT BOIL Mix well and let the curry boil on the high flame. When the curry starts boiling, then cover it and let it cook on the medium flame for 5 minutes.

ADD TAMARIND After 5 minutes, add tamarind to it and mix it. Again cover it and let it boil on the medium flame for 2 minutes.

READY TO SERVE Yours Tangy Flax Seeds Curry is ready to serve.

TIPS You can make thicker or thinner curry as per your taste. You can increase and decrease the amount of tamarind as per your taste. Never roast flax seeds too much. Never grind it too much.
