Welcome to Badger, founded in 1995 by my father, a rugged New England carpenter, herbalist, and entrepreneur. Our first product was a simple healing balm made for hard-working hands. Over the years, we created a myriad of herbal balms and oils and won the hearts of diehard organic skin care fanatics worldwide. Today, we honor where we have come from and look ahead at a bright and exciting future. This season, we are launching the first of a new generation of Badger products. Badger Daily Skin Care pairs radically clean, simple, organic ingredients with a sophisticated, effective skin feel and experience. Our new Daily and Face sunscreens are 80% to 90% organic, double as lightweight moisturizers, and have ultra-sheer finishes that are perfect for all skin tones. This breakthrough innovation is something we have been working towards creating for over a decade. These two groundbreaking new sunscreens represent a future Badger line that serves the daily needs of our customers with premium organic products that don’t compromise on quality, sustainability, efficacy, or experience. In closing, we have some important news to share about the Badger family. After 25 years of dedicated service, our Chief Mission Officer and my mother, Katie, is retiring. She has been at the core of our ethos, mission, and values since the beginning and her daily wisdom and guidance will be missed. We thank her for all that she has brought, and we hope to continue her passionate legacy.

REEF-SAFE MINERAL SUNSCREENS

All Badger sunscreens are made with mineral zinc oxide, the safest active ingredient available for effective broad-spectrum protection, in a base of organic ingredients including beeswax and sunflower oil. Our clean formulas are safer for coral reefs than any chemical sunscreen, with some awarded the rigorous Protect Land and Sea certification*.

Our mineral sunscreens are always crafted with natural, >96% organic ingredients. These waterless formulas are antioxidant-rich, moisturizing, hypoallergenic, and safe for even the most sensitive skin. They’re also water resistant for 40-80 minutes, so you can enjoy the places you want to go without fearing UVA/UVB rays. Hypoallergenic, cruelty-free, gluten-free, and >80% organic ingredients.

Our After Sun line offers cooling, soothing relief for sun-parched skin with Fair-Trade Certified ingredients. Great for skin, bad for bugs! Our bug repellent sprays, balms, and stick are 100% DEET-free and made with only the safest, purest ingredients that naturally fend off mosquitoes. Thanks to our special blend of essential oils like citronella, cedarwood, and lemongrass, these repellents have a fresh and citrusy scent that effectively keeps bugs at bay without repelling people. The powerful organic balms also provide hydration, leaving skin feeling softer and nourished.

Each formula is independently lab tested for efficacy and free of synthetic chemicals, making them safe for the whole family. The Anti-Bug Sprays repel mosquitoes for up to three hours, and the Anti-Bug Balm tins and stick repel mosquitoes and stable flies for up to two hours. Packaged in a lightweight aluminum bottle, an infinitely recyclable tin, or a travel-friendly stick. Certified Organic, gluten-free, and cruelty-free.

Our Itch Relief Stick soothes bug bites and irritation while softening skin.
