BRIEF TITLE
Stamped
The Brief Design and create a set or series of stamps for a chosen topic. Considerations Consider how broad your topic is; if it’s too big, will you struggle focusing on a particular idea when designing the stamps? What is the history behind your chosen topic? Will you use colour? How will you present the stamps; in a book; framed; single; as a set? How many stamps will you design? Is there anything important every stamp has to show? Concept/Proposition Stamp collectors are an important source of income for some countries that create limited runs of elaborate stamps designed mainly to be bought by stamp collectors. The stamps produced by these countries may exceed the postal needs of the countries, but may also feature attractive topical designs that many collectors would like to have in their stamp album.
