Plus
Sanctuary asked if Axis could help install a new under 5s’ playground in the outdoor space at Dove Cott House.
Axis’ Responsible Business Team was delighted to support this idea, utilising the Travis Perkins Community Fund.
Volunteers from Sanctuary and Axis excavated and cleared the space, repairing and painting the fences. They also installed a new playhouse and set down new paving slabs, artificial grass and attractive planting.
Safeplay Playgrounds installed a play panel station, talk tubes and game panels promoting sensory, educational and imaginative play as well as climbing and swinging.
Benefits
Together, Sanctuary and Axis provided Dove Cott House residents’ young children with a new, safe space to play in, learn from and enjoy.
