All our catering services and packages can be extended to this unique venue.
These venues carry no service charge; however, an exclusivity hire charge is applicable for TemptAsian: €2,250 on weekdays and €2,750 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, eves of Public Holidays, and Public Holidays.
Dance the night away in our Royal Hall! Prominently featuring Florentine chandeliers, this chic hall is the perfect venue to entertain your guests after saying ‘I do.’
Kick off your celebration in an al fresco setting at the Alexandra Gardens, perfect for your outdoor nuptials. In addition, our adjacent State Hall offers a grand location for you to have your first dance as a married couple and an exquisite spot to celebrate the happiest day of your lives.

200-year-old Palazzo Capua is reminiscent of a bygone age, making it the perfect venue for your fairytale wedding. The palazzo offers an impressive banqueting hall endowed with detailed finishings. We understand that your wedding day is one of the biggest life events you’ll ever experience. To avoid disappointment and to secure your booking, the following deposit schedule is required.
25% - to be paid upon confirmation of the wedding
50% - to be paid 45 days prior the wedding
15% - to be paid 15 days prior the wedding
10% - to be paid upon check-out

All prices mentioned within the package are inclusive of 18% VAT and waiter service for your wedding. Prices are applicable till the 31st December 2025. The revision of prices is warranted should there be abnormal increases in the rate of inflation. Prices indicated in the signed contract will be the final price and no other discounts will be applicable unless listed in such contract.
Overtime rates will come into effect from 5hrs after the agreed starting time of the event. Any additional hour or part thereof is subject to a charge of €450, excluding food & beverages.
Should the event be cancelled for any particular reason, any deposit paid shall not be refundable and may not be transferred in favour of third parties. The value of the deposit can be used in any service offered by the hotel and will expire after 24 months.
Menus
Whilst every care will be taken to produce the exact menu agreed, the hotel reserves the right to alter a particular ingredient or item on the menu if it is not available and replace it with a suitable alternative. Every endeavour will be made to inform the client of any changes in advance.
Our events team must be notified with the exact number of guests attending the event by at least 72 hours before the wedding. The number of guests confirmed must be equivalent to the number indicated at the booking stage, with a - 10% allowance from the original quote. The confirmed price of the wedding is conditional to the confirmation of the number of guests indicated at booking stage (- 10%), in default of which the hotel shall retain the right to revise the confirmed price for the wedding.
Your health and safety are important to us. The hotel takes full responsibility for the quality and freshness of the food served to your guests. In accordance with Health and Food Safety Legislation we are not able to release any leftover food.
Our package includes a complimentary three-tier dummy cake and two almond witness cakes. An almond cake is prepared and offered to your guests after the cutting of the cake. Should you wish to opt for either a Bacio or Fruit cake, kindly note that an additional charges will apply (depending on the number of people). Whatever the option, we guarantee a scrumptious wedding cake!
While some of our menu items do not contain nuts and/or gluten as a main ingredient, the said items are prepared in a kitchen where nuts and gluten-containing ingredients are used, therefore contamination of these products may occur and there may be traces of nuts and/ or nut oil and/or gluten or any allergies containing ingredients present, even if the description and/or menu item does not specify such. AX The Palace cannot guarantee that all products are nut free and/or gluten free and therefore cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from any food allergies, also those deriving from consumption of mustard seeds, sesame seeds, celery, onions, garlic, chilli, and dairy.
Our parking facilities are offered on a complimentary basis, subject to availability. Our underground carpark, which is connected to the hotel, is situated between our sister hotels AX The Victoria Hotel and AX Palazzo Capua in Gorg Borg Olivier Street.
Enjoying your big day is a top priority for us. However, as per Maltese legislation, we’ll need to turn down amplified music after 11pm. In addition, floor-standing speakers and bass bins are not permitted within AX The Palace venues, while only background music can be played at our 200-year-old Palazzo Capua. Entertainment
Any goods, props, and decorations are to be brought in the hotel and collected from hotel security within 1 week of the event.
Our cloakroom facilities are also available during your wedding reception to let your guests mingle without having to worry about their jackets and coats. The cloakroom, together with the services of an attendant, is free of charge for a wedding of 100 guests or more.
The use of confetti is permissible, with the exception of its usage near the outdoor or indoor pools. Open flame candles and paper lanterns are not permitted.
Should you wish to enhance the atmosphere of your wedding venue, you may rent our elegant ivory chair covers with a gold, or black sash against payment of €5.50 per chair.
In the event of any damage caused by guests, the customer will be responsible for all expenses incurred.
The Hotel will not be held liable for non-performance of its obligations when such non-performance is attributable to labour disputes or strikes, accidents, riots, national emergencies, natural disasters, acts of God, and other causes which are beyond the reasonable control of the Hotel and prevent or interfere with the caterer’s performance.
AX The Place shall not be responsible for the security and safekeeping of your property and shall consequently not be held responsible for any missing or lost items left at the venue.
Should you wish to release a PR on your event, it would be most appreciated to credit the caterer as ‘AX The Palace’.
Payment of any fees and charges for the catering service provided by AX The Palace shall be deemed to be an acknowledgment and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
