Hello everyone! I’m Griffin Mercer, leader of 2/19/20 Club Sports Council. At this week’s council, we challenged teams to create ideas for upcoming team officer elections. Representatives split into four groups and answered questions about the fairness of officer elections. After discussions were led, each group presented their findings and recommendations to the council. The main concerns of teams centered around voter participation and appropriate campaigning. Each group’s notes were collected to be analyzed and turned into recommendations for all officers. As teams begin to hit full stride for this semester, forms and budget meetings have been our main concern in the office. Executive Officers have been hard at work on our semester projects as well. Symposium is scheduled for Sunday, April 26th and the Club Sports Banquet will be the following Monday, April 27th. The New Executive Officer Form is now available to club sports officers. It will be available until March 18th. Once nominees are submitted, applications will be filled out for the Club Sports Council to review and approve.
