With the new semester in full swing, the equestrian team is finishing up a fantastic season that began back in the fall. All three disciplines have placed very well and are excited to end their seasons on a high note. Meanwhile Taylor Wooten placed fourth twice in Rookie A Horsemanship. At their most recent competition at the NC State/ Martin Community College show, Flake placed second in Level One Horsemanship. The last competition finished out their season, allowing them to exit on a high note. Dressage closed out their season on a very high note this last weekend. Senior Neicy Decker placed fifth in both Test and DSE Lower Training, Megan Weil placed first for her Intro Test class, and Ryan Carroll placed fourth in Intro DSE. Overall, the AppState dressage team placed fifth in the region, Jess Reimer
