First Competitions of the Season

The spring season is off to a roaring start! This past week, two teams travelled to Columbia, SC to participate in a tournament at the University of South Carolina. Team Greenway started off strong in the morning pool, winning two out of three of their matches. In the afternoon wave they battled with tough competition. Team Beech struggled to find their footing in the morning wave, but ended up finishing the day second in the silver bracket. They played hard and put up some incredible rallies against a stacked front line from USC. This coming weekend, Team Linville will be heading to the beach for a tournament at UNCWilmington. It will be exciting to see what these girls can achieve. The following weekend, Team Sugar and Team Blue Ridge will see their first competition at Western Carolina. As our teams all await their chance to compete, we have all been putting the work in at practice. We have high hopes for this volleyball season!
