O ur Mission Statement

The Associated Students, Universit y of California, Davis (ASUCD) improves the qualit y of campus life by providing resources and services to cultivate a culture of involvement and student leadership.

Join us as ASUCD connects the dots between all facets of our campus and builds tomorrow, together.

Aggie Reuse

Switched to a mutual aid model making all items available at ZERO COST for students and the wider community

Collaborated with multiple student and Davis-based organizations such as the Student Sustainability Career Fair Committee, the UCD LoveLab, and Empower Yolo.

Ran multiple events encouraging sustainability and creativity such as their merchandise design contest, mending workshop, and a Tshirt tote bag workshop collaboration with the Zero Waste Club

ASUCD Gardens

Introduced a new chicken coop to provide undergraduates the opportunity to experience backyard chicken keeping.

113 plots rented.

5 acres of land tilled.

Planning to o er low-commitment undergrad plot to introduce community gardening for newly-minted gardeners.

Bike B arn

Worked with the Helmet Hair Don’t Care and Lit Not Hit campaigns to provide free equipment and promote safety

Built several new and used bikes

Sold over 225 bikes this school year

Led community bike rides to promote safe riding practices and let students test out our new e-bikes

Two food service platforms returned, “Cooks” and “Croutons”, which o er a variet y of scratch-made entrees, sides, casseroles, soups, and salads for students

Student employment increased to approximately 250 student employees managed by a 60-person student supervisor team and 20 student managers.

Hired first-ever Executive chef who is also a former Co ee House student employee.

The Pantr y

Aided 5,150 patrons.

Distributed 5,540 menstrual products.

28,124 swipes from patrons.

Delivered 66,344 pounds of food.

Success garnered attention from CBS News

Reintroduced the Spice Jar program to provide students with popular seasonings.

Mobile Pantry services expanded to more locations on campus.

HAUS

Hosted the annual Housing Day event for students to help with housing needs

Supported peer advising sessions for students.

Partnered with the LGBTQIA Resource Center to create a Guide to Queer Housing.

This year Unitrans hit 100 million riders.

Aggie Studios

Brought in over $15,500 in revenue, surpassing their $10,000 goal by early Winter Quarter

Introduced Lead Animators into the Creative Media Executive Board.

Published over 210 minutes of content to their YouTube channel.

Selected as the lead photographers and videographers for the Year of the Eggheads.

Creative Media

Helped with branding for four new units: Innovation Research Lab, Information Technology, Pride, and Student Health and Wellness.

Both voting cycles from this year inspired 9,614 students to vote, a 223% increase from last year’s voting cycles.

Hired an industry professional to serve as Marketing Director.

Information Technology

Completed server migration. Provided networking to ASUCD.

Tracked and organized elections data in real-time.

Innovation & Research Lab

IRL became an o cial ASUCD unit through Senate Bill #96.

Partnered with HAUS and the Student Advocate O ce to research housing costs among UC Davis students.

Hired 8 new researchers and an associate director.

KDVS 90.3 FM

Celebrated its 60th annual anniversary.

Coresta attended the University of California Radio Network at Loyola Marymount University

Visited and was visited by other college radio stations in California, including KZSC, KALX, KSSU, and KXLU

Managed and ran multiple live music events for students

The California Aggie

Hosted couch concerts leading local bands.

Partnered with the Zero Waste and Sustainability Club to host crafting events.

This year marks the return of The California Gaggie and the introduction of new issues such as the Valentine’s and Lunar New Year issues.

Enter tainment Council

Focused on highlighting student musicians with local limelights

Managed music events for students such as BrainFreeze and Lawntopia. and Amine including campus to artists class world Brought Ravyn Lenae.

Picnic Day

ASUCD Pride

Drag Brunch featured drag performances and facilitated connections among students.

Third annual Pride Festival, “Pride Around the World” run by students helped support local businesses by queer and transgender individuals.

Over 50 vendors and food trucks in attendance.

Whole Ear th Festival

This year marked Whole Earth Festival's 55th annual event. Brought in exciting artists including Wallice and DJ Mandy.

Over 70 activities and performances featured this year.

Campus Center for the Environment

Worked on three major projects: Project Garden, Project Compost, and Project Challenge

Continued to assist with composting on campus and waste process from Co ee House, Pantry, and more.

Hosted Garden Social's with free food and prizes to build community in Davis.

Mental Health Initiative

Ran multiple events and programs centered around mental health.

8th Annual Mental Health Conference saw over 150+ attendees and showcased various mental health professionals and advocates.

Hosted several events including Therapy Llamas to support students at UC Davis.

Student Government

Campaigns from this year included ACQUIRE, Racial Justice Now!, UC We Vote, Fund the UC, and SEED (Students Enacting Environmental Defense) as part of the UC Student Association (UCSA) that comprises all 9 undergraduate UC's.

UC Davis delegates represented our campus at the Student Organizing Summit, the Student of Color Conference, Student Lobby Conference, Latin Lobby Day, Transfer Lobby Day, and Black Student Lobby Day.

Hosted 3 Planet Her events, ASUCD's female-empowerment event filled with live performances, resources, and fun prizes.
