We have at the Aston Workshop, striven to restore this AstonMartin to a condition at least as good as when it was initially manufactured by Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell. The Aston Martin DB4 series 1 is both very rare and fast appreciating and is considered to be one of the most desirable of all classic Astons by connoisseurs of the brand. All DB4 Series 1 are rare, but to find one that has received a full world class Aston Workshop restoration including many significant upgrades and enhancements is an exceptionally rare opportunity. This stunning DB4 has not only had a full body & chassis rebuild but it is also fitted with the famous Aston Workshop Bullitt engine, a 4.2 litre upgrade! This phenomenal engine gives the Aston a very modern driving feel and to enhance this further it has also been fitted with a modern limited slip differential, an up-rated 5-speed gearbox, electronic power assisted steering, electronic ignition and a high capacity aluminum radiator with electric cooling fan. Safety has also been improved with the fitting of upgraded ‘Monte Carlo’ suspension (including adjustable rear telescopic dampers), A.P Racing front brakes, upgraded ‘later DB5’ rear brakes and inertia reel front seat belts. To make the car more comfortable and usable in today’s environment we have also fitted an integrated Air Conditioning system and lined the cabin with ‘hidden’ heat insulation. All of this adds to the desirability of this particular car, but what really matters is that it is a fantastic ambassador for the heritage of Aston Martin, a truly exceptional and very beautiful DB4 Series 1 that is sure to offer the new owner many years of excitement and pleasure.
