AUTHOR AMISH TRIPATHI LAUNCHES NEW BOOK AT TAJ RENDEZVOUS EVENT HOSTED BY SUPERSTAR SONAM KAPOOR

On the 16th March 2023, Taj 51 Buckingham Gate, Suites and Residences hosted the launch of War of Lanka, Amish Tripathi’s latest book. The exclusive evening was part of the hotel’s Rendezvous event series and was hosted by award-winning actress Sonam Kapoor.

Amish is known as one of India's greatest storytellers, he is the fastest selling author in Indian publishing history. The audience were able to hear first-hand insight into his creative writing journey, history and experiences.

Amish and Sonam divulged their joint love of writing, reading and Indian mythology. These two icons have long been associated with The Taj and their relationship dates back many years, they have both had a significant impact on society through their great creative, literary and philanthropic work, as well as cinema.

Guests on the night included Taj, The Chambers members and notable people from within the community, including Mr. Vikram K Doraiswami, the High Commissioner of India in the UK, as the event’s guest of honour. The evening of thought-provoking conversation and cocktails was well attended by over 250 people and left the audience feeling empowered and eager to get their hands on Amish’s latest book, The War of Lanka, published by Harper Collins.
