Based on the autobiography’s adaptation of a true story of an immigrant Indian mother who navigates legal machinery in foreign land and later on home ground in India, to convince her commitment to care and win back the custody of her two young children. The passionately enacted film stars Rani Mukerji, Anirban Bhattacharya, Neena Gupta and Jim Sarbh. The music of the film is composed by Amit Trivedi. Lyrics are written by Kausar Munir.

Rani Mukerji is back on the big screen essaying a neverseen-before character portrayal. The much-awaited film which is directed by Ashima Chibber's Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway is all set to release on 17th March 2023.
The OG Queen of Bollywood has time and again impressed audiences with her versatile performances. In this latest film she is seen playing the role of a determined woman, navigating cultural differences in foreign land, finding her feet within a toxic marriage, reasserting herself amidst patriarchy and finding her voice as a committed mother. Rani is seen challenging governments, care system, legal trials and complex kinship ties to reunite with her children in this emotionally charged film.
