S TA G I N G O U R F U T U R E : Asolo Rep’s Strategic Plan for Growth BUILDING OUR CAPACITY TO PRODUCE WORLD-CLASS THEATRE IS AT THE HEART OF OUR STRATEGIC PLAN. Expanding our production facilities and modernizing our stage systems are key building blocks for our success, along with investments in new programmatic and administrative spaces. We’ve acquired new properties and invested in production upgrades, made possible with lead gifts from generous donors who believe passionately in our vision for the future. Hand-in-hand with developing our capital infrastructure, we are building our endowment funds to protect and maintain our assets and support future operations to keep pace with the theatre’s artistic vision: World-class theatre. The STAGING OUR FUTURE Capital Campaign, co-chaired by Ann Charters and Margaret Wise will: EVOLVE
Invest in the future of Asolo Rep by developing new income streams Attract nationally respected producers to develop shows entirely within our buildings Enable us to take on additional outside commissions as well as develop a profitable rental business in costumes and wigs, with expanded construction shop and industry standard storage Generate additional rental income by making event spaces, classrooms, and conference rooms available to community groups
“Asolo Rep knows how to leverage a crisis and overcome a challenge – it’s our superpower! Faced with the possibility of no performances this season, the Asolo Rep Production Team, led by Vic Meyrich, designed and built the Terrace Stage and Michael Donald Edwards produced a remarkable season of five performances that cheered and sustained us through the theatre 'drought' caused by the pandemic. Likewise, with the commitment of Development leadership, the support of the Asolo Rep Board and donors from the community, funds were raised to enable the theatre to commit to phase one of the Robert and Beverly Koski Center expansion project. Very soon now, Asolo Rep will have two new rehearsal halls, breakout studios, costume storage, office spaces, and so many other auxiliary spaces. We will truly be STAGING OUR FUTURE.” ‑Bev Koski 46
