ORC conducted a site survey and determined all available relocation benefits. ORC also provided multi-lingual agencts to work with spanish speaking occupants.

LCTCS Facilities Corporation - Hurricane Gustav/Ike Infrastructure Program: ORC, subconsultant to CDM Smith, relocated Chennault Mobile Home park for SOWELA Technical Community College to construct an 85-95,000 square foot training facility on a 13-acre parcel of land needed to increase workforce from Hurricane Katrina.

City of Minot - Souris River Disaster Recovery Program: Souris River flooded in 2011. ORC was contracted by CDM Smith to negotiate purchase of a 36-pad mobile home park with limited comparables due to a tight housing market.

Charlotte Storm Water Services Quick Buy Program (Charlotte, NC) Under a contract with Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services, ORC completed the following three separate projects.

1. Shannon House Project, Following guidelines published

by FEMA and the North Carolina Division of Emergency Management, ORC relocated two voluntary tenants.

2. Selwyn Village Condominiums Project; As part of a joint venture between Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and Mecklenburg County Storm Water Services, ORC acquired four residential condo units to mitigate repetitive flood loss claims.

3. Lastly, ORC acquired 11 residential structures damaged in a 2011 flood. This voluntary acquisition program included 7 acquired and 1 relocated properties.

Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH) ORC was contracted by the City of Cincinnati to provide acquisition, relocation, QA/QC, and appraisal services to assist in the districts upgrading and development of their current sewer systems.

CLA Croft Rd (Clark Co. Engineer) Assisted the county in acquisition services for 11 parcels to widen Croft Road. This included the shoulders and a bike lane.

Brent Spence Bridge HAM 75-0.22 (Cincinnati, OH) The reconstruction of I-75 from the Ohio River/Brent Spence Bridge through the Western Hills Viaduct includes approximately 100 acquisition parcels with 35 relocations.

CR14 1.23 (Delaware County, OH) ORC was selected by the Delaware County Engineer to acquire 83 parcels for the widening of county road 14.

ROUNDABOUT RIGHT OF WAY SERVICES

With over 50 years specializing in land acquisition and relocation services under the Federal Uniform Act, O.R. Colan Associates (ORC) has successfully managed several complex roundabout projects.

As such, our staff understand and have significant experience dealing with the concern for the affected public that often comes with installation.

Mills Road/SR 83 (Avon/North Ridgeville, OH) ORC acquired 5 parcels for the City of North Ridgville to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Mills Road and State Route 83. The initial work included installing a waterline and constructing a temporary road to minimize traffic flow disruption.

ROS 207-0.00 ODOT District 9 ORC provided ROW services for 24 parcels. This project constructed a roundabout at the intersection of SR 159 and SR 180. This federally funded project addressed safety issues inherent at the intersection along with alleviating congestion in the area.

MED SR 57/SR 252/Spieth Road Intersection Roundabout This federally funded project addressed the safety issues at the intersection, underscored by its many accidents. The project included driveway modifications requiring new ROW from 17 parcels (residential/farmland).

WAR Mason Montgomery Rd/Bethany Roundabout, (City of Mason Engineers Office) ORC acquired 9 parcels for a two-lane roundabout with twolane approaches and departures, including curb, gutters, storm sewers, bike path, sidewalk, culvert replacement and necessary utility relocation.

HAM Glendale-Milford/Lake Forest Roundabout ORC acquired 2 parcels and temporary agreements from one additional parcel. ORC provided Appraisals, Titles, Negotiations, and Closing services.

Dunloup Bridge, Fayette County, WV This project is providing upgrades to and widening the Dunloup Bridge across the Dunloup Creek. ORC is working with L.A. Gates to provide utility coordination.

Wellsburg Bridge, Wellsburg, WV ORC is working with RS&H to construct a new bridge from Route 2 in WV across the Ohio river to Route 7 in Ohio; title, appraisal, negotiation services for 5 parcels.

Reese Bridge, Greenbrier County, WV ORC is working with L.A. Gates to upgrade and widen the Reese Bridge across the Meadow River. We are providing title, appraisal, and negotiation services for 3 parcels in addition to utility coordination services.

AIRPORTS Yeager Airport, West Charleston, WV Phase 1 - Appraisal services for 55 vacant lots and 11 improved parcels; Phase 2 - appraisal of 9 additional lots acquired as additional buffer during the construction and mountain top removal process; Phase 3 - appraisal of the interior streets caused by taking.

Yeager Airport Slope Failure in Safety-Overrun Area Turnkey acquisition and relocation services contract after the safety-overrun area partially collapsed in March 2015; 12 occupied properties - fast-tracked acquisition and relocation; 3 tenant occupied properties, 1 non–residential relocation, 8 owner occupied properties; January 2017, purchase of 10 additional occupied properties.

Clinton Sanitary Sewer Project (Akron, OH) Assisted the city in full ROW services to install a vacum-type sanitary sewer to replace current failing septic system; managed 5 parcels.

Trumbull County Sanitary Engineer (Trumbull, OH) ORC was contracted to provide appraisal services for three (3) sewer projects for the county; in total this project consisted of 77 appraisals.

Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (St. Louis, MO) On call-contract awarded to ORC to assist with districts consent decree; provide acquisition of permanent and temporary easements to more than 300 property owners.

Public Water Supply District No. 2 (St. Charles, MO) Contributed to the growth of the largest water districts in the State of Missouri; managed 30 water and sewer improvement projects, involving acquiring easements, negotiations, researching ownership, preparing valuations and closings.
