The Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation, presented by the Asian Film Awards Academy, with the financial support from the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency, formerly known as Create Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Film Development Fund, is a touring film programme that showcases the exceptional creative talents of Hong Kong filmmakers to diverse audiences across different regions. Our mission is to establish strong relations and bring together film professionals from ASEAN countries and Hong Kong for an in-depth discussion of the art of cinema and collaboration. Since 2021, we have been to international cities such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Phnom Penh, Bangkok and so on.
「香港电影巡礼」由亚洲电影大奖学院主办，致力推动电影和文化交流，展现香港电影 业的魅力及优秀的电影人才，让各个地区的观众继续探索新世代的香港电影，以推动香 港电影业的持续发展。「香港电影巡礼」举行期间，将提供平台让各地的电影业界与香港 电影人共建更紧密的合作关系，并汇集来自亚洲地区的电影专业人士与香港电影人深度 讨论。自2021年起，亚洲电影大奖学院已在新加坡、吉隆坡、雅加达、金边、曼谷等多 个国际城市举行活动，让观众一同感受香港电影的感动、创造力及多元性。

ACADEMY
The Asian Film Awards Academy (AFAA), a non-profit organisation, was founded by Busan, Hong Kong and Tokyo International Film Festivals with the shared goal of celebrating excellence in Asian cinema. Aiming to promote and recognise Asian films and its talents, AFAA highlights, strengthens and develops Asian film industry through the annual Asian Film Awards and several year-round initiatives.
Our year-round events and programmes are held with the objectives to promote Asian films to a wider audience, expand the film market within Asia, and build and sustain connections among Hong Kong and international film professional. Masterclass Series – in conversation with filmmakers, Journey to the Fest – Student Visit to International Film Festivals, Asian Cinerama – Film Roadshow, and International Film Camp – a groundbreaking initiative aims to nurture and empower the next generation of Asian filmmakers, are examples of our year-round programmes. These programmes could not have held successfully without the financial support of Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDAHK), formerly known as Create Hong Kong, and Film Development Fund (FDF) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Government. The AFAA has worked to promote, educate, inform and develop knowledge, skills and interest in Asian cinema among the industry, students and audiences in Asia and beyond with the support of film festivals and cultural organisations.
亚洲电影大奖学院是由釜山、香港及东京国际电影节共同创立的非牟利 机构，旨在对国际展现优秀的亚洲电影作品。学院致力于推广和表彰亚 洲电影及业内人才，每年均会举办亚洲电影大奖及多项活动，以加强业 界发展，并向世界各地宣扬亚洲电影文化。

The Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDAHK), established in June 2024 and formerly known as Create Hong Kong, is a dedicated office set up by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) under the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau. It provides one-stop services and support to the cultural and creative industries with a mission to foster a conducive environment in Hong Kong to facilitate the development of arts, culture and creative sectors as industries.

The Film Development Fund (FDF) was first set up by the Government in 1999 to support projects conducive to the long-term development of the film industry in Hong Kong. Since 2005, the Government has injected a total of $1.54 billion into FDF to support Hong Kong’s film industry along four strategic directions, namely nurturing talent, enhancing local production, expanding markets and building audience. In the past, FDF has supported a number of film productions and other film-related projects through various film production funding schemes and other filmrelated project schemes.

The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Jakarta represents the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in matters between Hong Kong and the ASEAN as a whole. The office promotes Hong Kong’s economic and trade interests in the region. It also handles matters between Hong Kong and four ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam and the Philippines.
The office organises events regularly to promote Hong Kong’s image and culture exchanges, and attract investment by offering support to individual enterprises interested in setting up or expanding their presence in Hong Kong.

A gripping tale of former triad leader Shek Sam-long who, after his prison release, works as a car parker while attempting to start a small pub business. When Sam-long gets arrested and encounters his son at the police station, he discovers the young man has tangled with gangsters – unknowingly challenging the son of the very triad brother who betrayed Sam-long years earlier. Their conflict culminates in a boxing championship showdown where the sons battle, carrying both their personal grudges and their fathers’ bloody history.

renowned directors such as Wilson YIP on the “Ip Man” series, Soi CHEANG on “Twilight Of The Warriors: Walled In”, and Adam WONG on “The Way We Dance”. In 2017, he made his directorial debut with the film “Tomorrow is Another Day”, which revolves around the theme of autism. It was nominated for the Best New Director Award at the 37th Hong Kong Film Awards. Following that, he directed an action crime streaming film titled “Fierce Cop” and the upcoming film “Fight for Tomorrow”.
香港导演及编剧，毕业于香港浸会大学传 理系电影及电视科。毕业后曾任多套电影 之编剧，与数位着名导演合作，包括有叶 伟信导演执导的《叶问》系列、郑保瑞导演 执导的《西游记之大闹天宫》、黄修平导演 执导的《狂舞派》等等。在 2017 年，陈大利 首次执导以自闭症为主题的电影，并由毛 舜筠、凌文龙、吕良伟、刘美君等主演的 《黄金花》，并获第37届香港电影金像奖 提名新晋导演，是2017年香港亚洲电影节 特别推介电影之一。此后执导了一部以动 作警匪片为题的网络电影《烈探》及即将上 映的《拼命三郎》。

At the time, they said it couldn’t be done. In 2012, Andre BLUMBERG set off by himself, to run all four of Hong Kong’s iconic ultra distance trails in just four days. 298km and over 14,500m of climbing later, one of the hardest ultra marathons in the world - the Hong Kong Four Trails Ultra Challenge - was born.
With the 2021 edition of the challenge as the backdrop, “Four Trails” takes you on a journey from when the concept was first was conceived to it’s current format. Under 60 hours to be deemed a ‘Finisher’ and under 72 hours to be a ‘Survivor’, unsupported and with an ever evolving set of rules. It takes a deep dive into the famous four trails that make up the challenge and you will both laugh and cry as the astonishing stories of those who dare attempt such a feat unfold.

LEUNG has held the role of assistant director on numerous acclaimed Hong Kong productions, including the crime thriller “Infernal Affairs”, “My Left Eye Sees Ghosts”, “New Police Story”, “CJ7”, “Shinjuku Incident”, “Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame”, “The Bullet Vanishes”, “Rigor Morits”. He has also served as executive director on “Lazy Hazy Crazy” and “Raging Fire”.

In 2015, he served as the costume designer for Wah Chuen LAM ‘s mainland web film “Bros on the Run vs. Zombie Gangsters”. In 2016, he took on the roles of production and costume director for the mainland’s film “Unaware Control”, which was part of the main competition at the 41st Monterey International Film Festival, as well as contributed to the script, production and costume direction for several mainland web films.
Fate has arranged for the childhood sweethearts to come together, allowing them to become a couple in the end. However, the cruel reality plays tricks on them... Finally, after enduring all the pain from injuries, separation, and illness, it turns out that true love is the strength that carries them through the final journey of life.

In 2020, he served as the screenwriter, production and costume designer for “One Second Accident”, it was directed by Danny LEE Sau Yin. In 2021, he worked as the production and costume director for Fruit CHAN’s movie “Tales from the Occult”, while also referencing the director’s other film writing. In 2023, he directed his first feature film, “True Love, for Once in My Life” its produced by Fruit CHAN and starring YIP Tung and TSE Kwan Ho.

Aaron KWOK is one of Hong Kong's most esteemed artiste. In addition to his successful singing career, he made his mark in the film industry during the height of Hong Kong's cinematic boom, starring in popular films like "The Storm Riders", while continually refining his acting abilities. By the 2000s, he had earned consecutive Golden Horse Best Actor awards for his performances in "Divergence" and "After This Our Exile", In 2016, KWOK won his first Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor, "Port of Call". In recent years, KWOK has embraced new challenges by collaborating with emerging Hong Kong directors and taking on a variety of roles in films such as "Port of Call", "i'm livin' it", and the latest, "My First of May". He will be attending the forum to share insights from his illustrious acting career.
郭富城为香港最著名艺人之一，唱歌事业以外，他于香港电影业最高产量的年 代进入影坛，演出众多香港流行电影，例如《五亿探长雷洛传II》及《风云雄霸天 下》等，不断磨练演技，并至千禧年代凭住《三岔口》及《父子》连续获得金马奖最 佳男主角，于2016年凭《踏血寻梅》获金像影帝殊荣，演技备受肯定。近年，他 与多位香港新导演合作，演出不同类型角色，包括《踏血寻梅》、《麦路人》及近作 《无名指》等、继续接受挑战。郭富城将亲身出席讲座分享他丰富的演戏人生。
