Our factories are in China for all upholstered and steel furniture ,for wooden & rattan items in Indonesia. What makes us special is that Asiades is a unique company in many ways. Asiades is owned by Ken & Jan , Chinese & Dutch , Ken runs the factory and Jan the design & sales part . We sell furniture with a soul, which knows how to seduce and please , using the best materials which are on the market , made with a smile, luxury but affordable ,not on every corner of the street but spread partners all over the world. about production Asiades has grown to five production facilities in Asia. Every factory has its own product line or product type. Three of the factories are located in China; one is located in Surabaya, Indonesia. Our factory in Haining, in the east of China is specialized in upholstery and is responsible for the Artisan Collection, which consists mainly of sofas and lounge chairs. Using quality springs, relax foam and pick-up fibre we are able to create the ultimate feeling of comfort. A stone’s throw from Haining, in Tongxiang we find the factory that produces our chairs that make- up the entire ABC Collection, Coverstory and Socha collection. A specialized ‘A-team’ puts their experience into practice on a daily basis when it comes to producing these high-quality chairs. All our products go through a sustainable production process, which obviously results in products that are sustainable in use. The factory in Anji is responsible for the production of our design items in the Dutsh Collection. This contemporary collection with modern shapes is formed and finished with the same craftmanship as designing them. Our stainless steel products are produced in Jiangmen, China. These products are to be found in the Dolce Decor Collection and Ilblua Steel and are made with extreme care and precision resulting in fine, smooth furniture. When mentioning our last facility, the one in Surabaya, the first thing that comes to mind is the Indo Collection. Selected wood and naturals from the starting point of this collection, ranging from classic to modern. We only use wood with the verification stamp VLO (Verification of Legal Origin), which is a verification of production rights, chain of ownership, tax payments and adherence to production quotas. It demonstrates that logs and timber products have been legally sourced.

To continue to innovate in quality we have outlined our knowledge in our special ‘ABC Collection’. Asiades Best Chairs. This collection contains a various number of side chairs, armchairs and lounge chairs. The question we keep asking ourselves is ‘how to enrich a chair?’ regarding appearance, but also from a technical point of view. Think of the No Sag S-Springs we use or the solid corner blocks. Furthermore, we do not only want to produce a lasting chair for user purposes, we also value a sustainable manufacturing process. All materials used in this process are fair, durable and possess the right stamps. The superb quality we offer and which you are used to becomes the new standard. Because we are highly convinced of the power of this collection, we make sure that our stock is optimized in order to supply frames and a diverse selection of fabrics and leather. That’s why we are able to ship within six weeks with a maximum of six selections per container.

the itsese collection Itsese lounge items are made of high quality outdoor fabric, which is easy to clean and also very comfortable for indoor purposes. We provide a 100% polyester outdoor cover with durable pvc coating and a Vintage Cotton cover for indoor use. This lightweight material makes it easy to move and remove. The special belt helps you to create your own sense of comfort. For a more active seat, pull the belt a little tighter. When you prefer something more laid back, loosen the belt a bit. Itsese has everything to create a lounge area adjustable to your own style. Try it, it’s easy!

history making furniture is our passion which goes back more than 150 years Asiades has its origins more than two centuries ago, where the first out of five generations Hulstein began his career as furniture maker.

FUTURE
Jan Hulstein was born in a furniture workshop in Apeldoorn Netherlands and learned from his grandfather how to make furniture. After he graduates he first started to make furniture behind his house and later setup a factory in Holland. Later he decides to explore the world of furniture in Asia and met with Ceng in Indonesia and started to produce together Dutch design made in Asia. They continue business under the name Asiades’ while the creative and sales home base in the Netherlands receives the name ‘Arocca’.
Recently Asiades seals a unique partnership with Ken Li, who runs the Sochafactory. He looks after production in China. Jan Hulstein takes care of the product development. This unique co-ownership, inwhich east meets west, customers buy directly from the factory, with the western touch of design quality.

Our 3000 m2 showroom is a statement on itself; it provides a great insight into our company and it basically reflects who we really are and what we are all about whole year round. We call it our ‘creative temple’. Here we can show our collections in the same ambiance as we create on our shows.
