So far this year, we have had the privilege of helping hundreds of clients achieve their property goals - completing over 470 sales, securing more than 250 lets, and managing in excess of 7,600 holiday let bookings by the end of July. As we move into the second half of the year, we expect to see a recovery in property prices, driven by falling interest rates and the ongoing shortage of available homes in York - a city that continues to grow in popularity as a place to live and invest.
We have seen the lettings market remain buoyant despite ongoing regulatory changes as well as increased mortgage and insurance rates impacting costs for both landlords and tenants. We hope to see the recent fall in interest rates bring opportunity for new investors, increased rental supply, greater affordability and stability for tenants.
