Local Knowledge
If you are just starting out with your search for the perfect holiday home, come and speak to us first. The Ashtons Group includes; Ashtons Sales which sell nearly 20% of all the properties in York, and Ashtons Lettings which is the largest independent lettings agency in the city, managing over 850 residential lets in and around York. All of our staff live locally, therefore our knowledge of York and the surrounding areas is second to none.
Options
All properties are unique, and depending on your requirements as an owner, holiday letting isn’t always the optimum choice. Some properties benefit from holiday letting, long term rental, a mixture of both, or a blend of the two such as a serviced let.
Serviced Lets
Serviced lets are longer term stays which are typically booked 28 days at a time, they are fully furnished properties finished to a high standard with an all-inclusive rate for the accommodation and bills. These are extremely popular for corporate lets, insurance company lets and people who are in-between properties. They can be very lucrative and in a typical year can account for as much as 40% of our booked nights.
Property Maintenance
We keep you updated with feedback received from guests, and we carry out regular audits of your property to ensure your property is maintained and kept to a five star standard. We can recommend local, trusted tradespeople and contractors who we regularly use to help carry out any maintenance jobs.
Compliance
Your dedicated property manager will keep you up to date on the ever changing rules and regulations, essential to maintaining and running a safe and legal holiday let.
