LYNDON C.
BARNES
April 10, 1963 - July 24, 2025
Lyndon was a husband, father, son, brother, and friend; he was the steady presence, the encourager, and the heart of every room he entered. His kindness was not just in words, but in the way he lived his life, always ready to listen, help, or offer a word of wisdom at just the right moment.
Family was the foundation of Lyndon’s life. He found his greatest joy in loving and caring for those closest to him, and he poured himself wholeheartedly into being the best version of himself. His home was his sanctuary, and his family was his proudest blessing. To his loved ones, he was a rock, a source of strength, comfort, and
unconditional love. To his friends, he was loyal, dependable, and always willing to lend a hand.

His generous heart left a lasting imprint, and his legacy of love, faith, and family will continue to live on through those who had the privilege of knowing him. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit remains deeply woven into our lives

celebrate his love, his faith, and his lose in our hearts now and always.

“His Journey’s Just Begun”
By Ellen Brenneman
Don’t think of him as gone away his journey’s just begun, life holds so many facets this earth is only one.
Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears, in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years.
Think how he must be wishing that we could know today, how nothing but our sadness can really pass away.
And think of him as living in the hearts.

Every man ’ s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.

-Ernest Hemingway

Great is Thy Faithfulness
Great is thy faithfulness, O God, my Father; There is no shadow of turning with thee.
Thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not;
As thou hast been, thou forever wilt be.
Refrain:
Great is thy faithfulness, Great is thy faithfulness, Morning by morning new mercies I see. All I have needed thy hand hast provided;
Great is thy faithfulness, Lord unto me.
Summer and winter and springtime and harvest, Sun, moon, and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love.
Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, Blessings all mine and ten thousand beside.
The Lord’s my Shepherd
The Lord’s my shepherd, I’ll not want. He makes me down to lie
In pastures green: he leadeth me the quiet waters by.
Refrain:
He lives, He lives, He lives I know that my redeemer lives, He lives, He lives He lives within my heart
My soul he doth restore again; and me to walk doth make
Within the paths of righteousness, ev’n for his own name’s sake.
Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale, yet will I fear none ill: For thou art with me; and thy rod and staff me comfort still.
Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale, yet will I fear none ill: For thou art with me; and thy rod and staff me comfort still.
Goodness and mercy all my life
Shall surely follow me, And in God’s house forever more My dwelling place shall be.
When We All Get to Heaven
Sing the wondrous love of Jesus, Sing His mercy and His grace; In the mansions bright and blessed He'll prepare for us a place.
Refrain:
When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we'll sing and shout the victory!
While we walk the pilgrim pathway Clouds will overspread the sky; But when trav'ling days are over Not a shadow, not a sigh.
Let us then be true and faithful, Trusting, serving ev'ry day; Just one glimpse of Him in glory Will the toils of life repay.
Onward to the prize before us! Soon His beauty we'll behold; Soon the pearly gates will open We shall tread the streets of gold.
At the Graveside
No Tears in Heaven
No tears in Heaven, no sorrows given, All will be glory in that land; There'll be no sadness, all will be gladness, When we shall join that happy band.
Chorus:
No tears, in heaven fair, No tears up there, Sorrow and pain will all have flown; No tears in heaven will be known.
Glory is waiting, waiting up yonder, Where we shall spend an endless day; There with our Savior, we'll be forever, Where no more sorrow can dismay.
Some morning yonder, we'll cease to ponder Over things this life has brought to view; All will be clearer, loved ones be dearer, In heaven where all will be made new.
If you Miss me Don’t Come Searching I’ll Fly Away
Walk those Streets of Glory
