Foreign citizens from the European Union member states have the right to enroll to study in Romania in the same conditions as Romanian citizens, directly to the universities, in accordance with Law 316 of 12.07.2006 and the Order of the Ministry of Education, Research, Youth and Sports no. 3855 of 17.05.2010. I. Documents requiring recognition by the National Centre for Degree Assessment and Academic Recognition The documents required for registering to a higher education institution must be translated into Romanian, legalized by a public notary and the diplomas must be recognized by the National Centre for Degree Assessment and Academic Recognition (CNRED) http://www.cnred.edu.ro/. Application form; High School Graduation Diploma (Baccalaureate) and Transcript of records, original and legalized copy; Bachelor diploma and Transcript of records, original and legalized copy; Identity Card/ Passport, original and copy. The aforementioned documents will be sent in legalized copies. The documents written in other languages than English or French will be translated into Romanian and English. The diplomas from Italy, Greece, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus will be apostilled with the Hague Apostille.
